The iPhone 15 is the smaller 6.1-inch phone, with Apple’s A16 Bionic chip and a 48MP main camera. Samsung’s Galaxy A57 5G has a larger 6.7-inch display with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate and three rear cameras. Those specifications make screen size and refresh rate the clearest differences; they do not establish which phone is faster or takes better photos.
There is no reliable like-for-like price difference in the available figures: they cover different countries, dates, promotions, and storage configurations. Compare current local prices for matching capacities and equivalent sale conditions before deciding.

Which screen better suits you?
The iPhone 15’s 6.1-inch display makes it the smaller option on paper. The Galaxy A57 5G’s 6.7-inch screen gives you a larger viewing area and lists a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Choose based on whether a more compact device or a larger, high-refresh display matters more to you; the specifications alone do not establish overall display quality.

What the camera specifications do—and do not—tell you
Apple lists a 48MP main camera and describes a 2x telephoto option at optical quality. Samsung lists a three-camera rear array of 50MP, 12MP, and 5MP and optical image stabilization on its Egypt product page. Camera count and megapixels are not a direct measure of photo quality, and the available information does not provide comparative image tests.
Processor and storage differences
Apple identifies the iPhone 15’s chip as A16 Bionic. Samsung’s Egypt page names Exynos 1680 for the Galaxy A57 5G, while Samsung’s product information also describes an octa-core processor. These labels do not show how the phones compare in real-world performance; no like-for-like benchmark is established here.

Apple listed three iPhone 15 capacities at launch: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Samsung’s Egypt listing pairs 256GB storage with 8GB RAM and 512GB with 12GB RAM. Do not assume those Galaxy A57 configurations are sold in every country: check the local product listing for the exact memory and storage variant.

Those figures mix currencies and markets, an historical launch price and a live store offer, and non-matching configurations. Converting them or subtracting one from another would not give a meaningful price difference. For a useful comparison, check the current price in your country for the same storage capacity and comparable condition, such as new and unlocked; account for any carrier, trade-in, or other offer requirements.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which one should you choose?
- Consider the iPhone 15 if the smaller 6.1-inch display and Apple’s listed A16 Bionic chip match your priorities.
- Consider the Galaxy A57 5G if you prefer a larger 6.7-inch screen with a listed maximum 120Hz refresh rate and want the specific three-camera hardware Samsung lists.
- Compare local listings before choosing on price. Confirm the storage capacity, condition, and offer terms on both phones rather than treating the regional figures above as a direct comparison.
Neither these specifications nor the listed prices establish which phone lasts longer, performs better in a particular task, or takes better photos. Those decisions call for evidence beyond the published figures presented here.
