Intezer announced a $33 million Series C on September 17, 2024, to expand its AI-based security operations platform, product team, and go-to-market efforts. Led by Norwest Venture Partners, the round brought the company’s stated total funding to $60 million. The platform is designed to investigate security alerts and help security operations teams decide which ones need human attention; its performance figures are company-reported, not independent test results.
What Intezer announced in September 2024
Intezer said Norwest Venture Partners led the $33 million Series C, with existing investors Intel Capital, OpenView, and Magma participating, along with Alon Cohen, founder of CyberArk. Intezer described the round as bringing its total capital raised to $60 million. Intezer’s September 17, 2024 announcement said the company planned to expand its product and go-to-market teams and further develop its AI-based security operations platform.
In a separate CEO-authored article, co-founder and CEO Itai Tevet said the investment would help refine and expand AI intended to emulate aspects of human analysts’ expertise, while also growing market presence and customer support. Those were plans announced at the time; they do not establish how the funding was ultimately spent. Tevet’s article also describes the operational problem the company targets: security teams facing high alert volumes and limited staffing.

In the 2024 funding announcement, Intezer described its Autonomous SOC platform as software that connects with an organization’s existing security tools and investigates endpoint alerts, SIEM alerts, user-reported phishing, and other alerts. Intezer said the platform makes triage decisions, closes false positives, and escalates serious threats with findings and recommended incident-response actions. These are the company’s product descriptions, not independently verified outcomes.
#1 Best Overall
Intezer’s current enterprise page uses newer “AI SOC” language. It describes a combination of machine learning, deterministic methods, generative AI, and agentic AI. According to the company, its system can gather and analyze evidence such as files, processes, registry modifications, memory snapshots, command-line activity, and related alerts, then recommend or take response actions. The page also promotes built-in malware analysis, memory forensics, and endpoint investigation. This is current vendor positioning and should not be read as a verbatim description of the product at the time of the 2024 financing announcement. Intezer’s current enterprise page
How to interpret Intezer’s performance figures
Intezer has published multiple sets of operational metrics at different times. They should be kept separate: the company has not established in these materials that they use the same customer mix, definitions, measurement periods, or methodology.
| Publication and date | Company-reported figures | How to read them |
|---|---|---|
| Intezer announcement, September 2024 | 4% of alerts escalated; triage in two minutes | Figures from the company’s announcement; definitions and measurement methodology are not stated in that release. Source |
| Intezer, January 2025 | 3.81% escalation rate; 97.7% accuracy for false-positive identification; 93.45% true-positive accuracy; 2 minutes 21 seconds average investigation time; 15 seconds median investigation time | Company-reported platform metrics. The release does not establish comparability with the 2024 figures. Source |
| Intezer’s current enterprise page | Automatic resolution of 98% of alerts; escalation of less than 2% for human intervention | Current vendor claims, not an independently verified benchmark. The page’s claims should not be merged with earlier figures as if they were measured under the same conditions. Source |
The numbers may help frame questions for a vendor discussion, but a percentage alone does not show how a system will perform in a particular environment. Ask how the company defines an alert, a false positive, a true positive, an escalation, and an investigation-time interval; what data and customer environments were included; and whether the figures describe an average, a median, or a particular test period.
What Intezer reported after the funding round
In January 2025, Intezer said its annual recurring revenue grew 2.5 times, its customer base doubled, and its team grew by 50% during 2024. The company also reported operating in more than 700 customer environments to date. These are company-reported growth figures, not audited financial results. Intezer’s 2025 update

The same update described expanded MSSP capabilities, automated SIEM triage for tools including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, integration with Tines, and availability through Microsoft Azure Marketplace. It named GMI, RSM, and CarbonHelix among MSSP collaborations. These announcements indicate product and channel development; they do not show that every integration or deployment is suitable for every organization.
Intezer had also announced a multi-tenant offering for managed security service providers in March 2024, before the Series C. The company said it handled endpoint, SIEM, and reported-phishing alerts for MSSPs. That release included a customer comment from Legato Security SOC Manager Jesse Stoltz about the value of timely investigation reports and a private instance for sensitive data. What a security team should evaluate
For an organization considering an AI SOC platform, funding announcements and top-line accuracy claims are not substitutes for an evaluation against its own security workflow. Relevant questions include:

Intezer’s announcements and product page do not provide an independent comparison with competing platforms, so they are not enough to rank the product against alternatives.
