The Infinix Note 50X is a 5G phone, but “TECNO POVA 7” can mean two different devices: the base 4G model or the separate POVA 7 5G. That distinction changes the chipset, screen and battery comparison. The base POVA 7 has a larger battery and a higher-resolution display than the Note 50X according to the listed specifications; the POVA 7 5G shares the Note 50X’s chipset and was the TECNO model in 91mobiles’ price comparison.
First, identify the POVA 7 variant
TECNO sells both a base POVA 7, which is a 4G device, and a distinct POVA 7 5G. The base model uses a Helio G100 Ultimate chipset; the 5G model uses a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate. The comparison page from 91mobiles identifies its TECNO handset as the POVA 7 5G, so its specifications and price should not be treated as figures for the base POVA 7.
- Infinix Note 50X 5G: the 5G model documented on Infinix’s official specifications page.
- TECNO POVA 7: base 4G model documented on TECNO’s official specifications page.
- TECNO POVA 7 5G: separate 5G model documented on TECNO’s product page and identified in the 91mobiles comparison.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Note 50X if you want Infinix’s documented 5G model and its 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB storage options.
- Consider the base POVA 7 if 4G is sufficient and its manufacturer-listed 7,000mAh battery and FHD+ display suit your priorities.
- Compare the POVA 7 5G against the Note 50X if you want a TECNO 5G option. They share a listed chipset, while the comparison page reports a higher-refresh-rate display for the TECNO model; confirm complete specifications and live prices for your market before deciding.
No reliable matched software-update comparison or verified current like-for-like price is established by the cited specifications and listing, so neither is a sound basis for naming a universal winner.
