The Infinix Note 50s 5G+ is easiest to recommend to India-market buyers who want a vivid curved AMOLED screen, a light design and smooth everyday performance. Its 6.78-inch display supports up to 144Hz, and its 5,500mAh battery is generous on paper. The compromises are more noticeable if you need dependable night photos, sustained high-frame-rate gaming, expandable storage, a headphone jack or a flat screen.
Value depends on the price you find. At launch, Infinix’s 8GB/128GB version was priced at ₹15,999 and the 8GB/256GB version at ₹17,999; a first-sale offer was reported from ₹14,999. The official India store displayed ₹17,999 against a regular price of ₹19,999 when checked for this review, but offers and stock change. Check the current price and exact storage variant before buying.
What is the Infinix Note 50s 5G+?
It is an India-market 5G smartphone that Infinix identifies as model X6870. Some reviews and retailer listings shorten the name to Note 50s 5G. Gadgets 360 reported its India launch on 18 April 2025. Infinix’s product page lists XOS 15 based on Android 15.
The phone’s central appeal is a large, curved AMOLED display in a relatively light 180g body. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate is suited to routine use and multitasking, but the Note 50s should not be treated as a dedicated gaming phone simply because some games may support high frame rates.

What works well
The display is the main reason to consider it
The curved 6.78-inch AMOLED panel is the Note 50s 5G+’s clearest differentiator. Reviewers found its contrast and colors appealing, while the refresh rate can reach 144Hz. That combination suits scrolling, video and general use for people who like a large, curved screen. The glossy curved surface can also reflect distracting light in bright surroundings, so the shape is a matter of preference as well as appearance.
It feels light for a large-screen phone
Infinix lists a weight of 180g, and hands-on reviews describe the phone as comfortable to hold. 91mobiles reports that a color-matched TPU case is included in the box.

Routine performance is smooth
Reviewers found everyday use and multitasking smooth on the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate platform. This is a positive sign for messaging, browsing and switching among common apps, not proof of flagship-class performance or consistent frame rates in demanding games.
The main camera is more convincing in daylight
91mobiles found that the main camera could produce sharp daylight images with balanced exposure and useful detail, though colors appeared vibrant rather than fully accurate. That makes it more suitable for casual daytime photography than for buyers whose priority is difficult lighting.

Battery capacity is substantial
The specified capacity is 5,500mAh. Reviewers reported getting a day of use in their routines, although 91mobiles found battery results fairly average compared with rivals. A Smartprix review observed roughly an hour for a full charge and 10W reverse charging; charging time depends on conditions and should be treated as that reviewer’s result, not a guaranteed duration.
What to watch out for
Low-light photography is a weakness
Both 91mobiles and Smartprix reported problems in low light, including washed-out or hazy results, lens flare and difficulty controlling bright light sources. If night photography matters more than daylight snapshots, compare sample photos from alternatives before choosing.

Storage cannot be expanded
Reviews report no microSD expansion. Buyers who record 4K video, install large games or keep lots of media offline should choose storage carefully; the 256GB launch variant offers more room than the 128GB one, but confirm which configuration is actually available at the price you are considering.
There is no 3.5mm headphone jack
Smartprix lists the missing headphone jack as a drawback. If you rely on wired headphones with a 3.5mm plug, account for the lack of that connection before buying.

High-frame-rate gaming depends on the game and conditions
Do not read reports of 90fps support as a promise that every game runs at 90fps. 91mobiles reports game-specific results at its tested settings and lag associated with outdoor heat; iTechGuides notes that title, settings, firmware and temperature all affect results. For long gaming sessions, look for testing of the specific games you play rather than relying on a headline frame-rate claim.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ worth buying?
It is a reasonable fit when a curved, vivid AMOLED screen, low weight and capable everyday speed matter more than specialist features. Its case is strongest near the original ₹15,000–₹18,000 launch range in India, provided the available price and storage variant suit you. iTechGuides advises caution above ₹20,000, where newer phones may reduce its value advantage.
Look elsewhere if your priorities are strong night photography, sustained high-frame-rate gaming, a flat display, microSD expansion, a 3.5mm headphone jack or NFC. The reviewed sources discuss alternatives including the Realme P3 and Vivo T4x, but neither is a universal winner: compare current price and storage alongside display brightness and shape, sustained gaming behavior, low-light camera results, battery and charging, update policy and the practical extras you need.
