If you mean the India-listed Infinix Hot 60 5G+ (X6726), the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G has the more detailed display and camera specifications: Samsung lists a higher-resolution AMOLED screen and optical image stabilization on its main camera. Infinix lists a higher maximum refresh rate and slightly greater typical battery capacity. Neither phone is established as faster, longer-lasting, or better in photos by these specifications alone.

“Infinix Hot 60” can refer to more than one model or market. The official Infinix India page identified here is for the Hot 60 5G+, model X6726, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Display: sharper resolution or a higher refresh-rate ceiling?
Samsung lists the clearer specification advantage for resolution: its 6.7-inch screen is FHD+ at 1080 × 2340, while Infinix lists HD+ at 720 × 1600. Samsung also specifies Super AMOLED; Infinix specifies an IPS LCD. Those figures make the Galaxy M17 the more promising choice if screen resolution and display type are priorities, but they are not a brightness, color-accuracy, or outdoor-visibility test.
Infinix lists refresh rates up to 120Hz, compared with Samsung’s up-to-90Hz specification. A higher maximum can allow more frequent screen updates in supported content, but the listings do not establish how often each phone uses its maximum rate or how smooth either feels in everyday use.

Cameras: Samsung lists OIS, but megapixels are not a photo test
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. Samsung additionally lists 5MP and 2MP rear cameras and optical image stabilization (OIS) for the main camera; Infinix’s listing says OIS is not supported. OIS physically compensates for some camera movement and can help reduce blur from hand shake, particularly in still photos or video, but it does not guarantee better image quality in every scene.

The front-camera figures are 13MP for Samsung and 8MP for Infinix. These are resolution specifications only; they do not establish which phone takes better selfies. No comparable independent camera test is available in the cited specifications.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
Infinix lists a 5,200mAh typical battery, 200mAh more than Samsung’s listed 5,000mAh typical capacity. Samsung, however, specifies 25W wired charging support, while Infinix lists up to 18W and 10W reverse charging. Capacity and supported wattage do not establish actual battery life or charge time: screen settings, network use, workload, charger, and other conditions matter, and the specifications do not provide matched endurance or charging tests.
Performance and software support
The listed processors are MediaTek Dimensity 7020 for Infinix and Exynos 1330 for Samsung. Chip names alone are not enough to determine which phone performs better in apps or games; no comparable benchmark or hands-on performance measurement is established here.

Infinix lists XOS 15.1.1 powered by Android 15. Samsung’s Galaxy M17 launched with Android 15 and One UI 7. Samsung says the phone is planned to receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates; its product page presents this as current plans and notes that specifications and information may change. This is a stated support commitment, not evidence that all those updates have already been delivered.
Price difference: the available figures are not a fair current comparison
Prices are tied to market, date, memory configuration, offers, and retailer. The available figures come from different contexts, so they do not establish which phone currently costs less at checkout.
