The Infinix GT 30 Pro is the lower-priced, gaming-focused choice; the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G listing costs more and advertises stronger battery, charging, and camera specifications. In the India listings reviewed, the Infinix is ₹31,999 and the Motorola is ₹47,999—a displayed gap of ₹16,000. Treat those as snapshot prices, not guaranteed checkout prices, and verify that Motorola’s specifications match the exact India Pro Plus variant before buying.

Which phone makes more sense for your priorities?

Choose the Infinix GT 30 Pro for gaming controls and the lower listed price

Its dedicated GT Gaming Triggers and gaming-oriented features give it a clearer gaming focus than the Motorola specifications reviewed here. Both displays are rated up to 144Hz, while Infinix’s manufacturer advertises 120FPS game support. That is not a promise that every game will run at 120FPS: availability depends on the game and its settings. At the snapshot prices, the Infinix also costs ₹16,000 less than the Motorola listing.

Consider the Motorola if its exact variant is confirmed and you value its listed upgrades

The official Edge 70 Pro page specifies a larger 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired charging, a 50MP front camera, OIS on the 50MP main camera, and up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches. Those are meaningful specification differences, but the India Pro Plus listing must be checked against the exact model you intend to buy before treating them as confirmed for that phone.

Price difference in India: check the variant and live offer

Infinix lists the GT 30 Pro at ₹31,999 MRP inclusive of taxes. The comparison listing shows the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus 5G at ₹47,999; Motorola India’s indexed Edge-family result shows ₹84,999 MRP and a displayed ₹47,999 price. Subtracting the two ₹31,999 and ₹47,999 displayed prices gives a ₹16,000 gap. These are listing snapshots, not guaranteed transaction prices: check the current seller, offer, RAM/storage configuration, and final checkout price.

Motorola naming differs across the sources: the comparison page uses “Motorola Edge 70 Pro + 5G,” while the India family result uses “motorola edge 70 pro plus.” The official detailed support page is titled “moto edge 70 pro.” Confirm the item or model number and supported bands on the India listing rather than assuming that every Pro or Pro Plus model has identical specifications.

Display and performance: similar refresh rate, different specifications

Both phones list AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 144Hz. Infinix specifies a 6.78-inch, 1224 × 2720 LTPS AMOLED panel; Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro page lists a 6.8-inch, 1272 × 2772 Extreme AMOLED display. Motorola therefore lists more pixels, but the available specifications do not establish which screen looks better in ordinary use. Peak-brightness figures can also depend on measurement conditions.

The listed processors are the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate in the Infinix and Dimensity 8500 Extreme on Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro support page. The model names alone do not establish a guaranteed everyday speed advantage. 91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 1,349,476 for the Infinix and 2,217,003 for the Motorola comparison listing. Its page does not give enough protocol detail here to assess software builds, settings, repeatability, or exact regional hardware, so treat these as that publication’s reported scores rather than a dependable prediction of your own performance.

Cameras: megapixels do not settle image quality

The Infinix lists a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro specifications list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide with autofocus and macro capability. For the Pro Plus listing, 91mobiles additionally reports a 50MP telephoto camera; confirm that extra camera on official documentation for the exact India model.

Infinix’s specification page lists PDAF for the main camera but does not list OIS in the supplied specification text. The comparison page says the Infinix main camera has no OIS, which is secondary-source information. A higher megapixel count does not prove better photos, and the listed specifications do not substitute for a controlled camera comparison.

For selfies, Infinix lists a 13MP front camera and Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro page lists 50MP. That difference describes resolution, not a tested image-quality result.

Battery, charging, and protection

Infinix lists a 5,500mAh battery and its FAQ specifies 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 10W reverse wired charging. Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro page lists a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, 90W wired charging, and 5W reverse wired charging. Wireless charging is a listed Infinix advantage if it is present on the exact regional configuration you are considering.

91mobiles reports PCMark battery-test results of 7h 26m for the Infinix and 14h 11m for the Motorola listing. The available comparison page does not provide enough test-protocol detail to determine screen settings, software build, repeatability, or exact regional hardware. These are test figures reported by 91mobiles, not promises of everyday battery life.

Infinix lists IP64 and warns that protection can deteriorate and that submersion damage is not covered. Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro support page lists IP69/IP68 and MIL-STD 810H. Confirm those ratings for the exact Pro Plus SKU and read its warranty terms; ratings do not make a phone immune to damage.

Memory, storage, and software support

Infinix lists 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations, with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. Motorola’s official Edge 70 Pro support page lists 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage; the India family result and comparison listing show a 12GB/256GB Pro Plus configuration. Compare the same RAM capacity and verify the regional SKU before judging value.

Infinix specifies XOS 15 based on Android 15. 91mobiles reports two years of OS updates and three years of security updates, but the official Infinix product-page text reviewed here does not confirm those durations. Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro support page lists Android 16 and up to three years of OS upgrades and security patches. Treat that as the clearer published support commitment in the sources, while checking that it applies to the India Pro Plus model.

How to choose without relying on uncertain specs

  1. Match the exact India model. On the seller’s listing, confirm the full product name, model or item number, supported bands, RAM, and storage. In particular, do not assume the official moto edge 70 pro support specifications automatically describe every India Pro Plus listing.
  2. Compare the final prices. Check the seller, current offer, and checkout total for the same storage and RAM tier; the listed ₹16,000 difference may change.
  3. Prioritize features you will use. Pick Infinix for its dedicated gaming triggers and lower listed price; consider Motorola if the exact variant confirms the battery, charging, camera, protection, and support specifications that matter to you.
  4. Do not buy on benchmark or megapixel figures alone. The cited benchmark results lack enough protocol detail to predict your daily experience, and camera resolution does not establish photo quality.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
