Why some search results show a different India–China hockey result
The 2023 Asian Games produced different results in the men’s and women’s competitions: India’s men beat Japan 5–1 in the final to qualify for Paris 2024, while China’s women beat Korea 2–0. Those matches are unrelated to the 2026 women’s final, in which India beat China 1–0.
What Lalremsiami said after the final
After receiving her gold medal, Lalremsiami told the FIH: “We truly believed this result was possible because of our team chemistry, hard work and belief in each other!
