Verdict: IKEA LUNDTRAV is a cotton-shell pillow filled with 90% duck feathers and 10% duck down, offered in low and high versions in the regional listings reviewed. IKEA positions the low version for stomach sleepers and the high version for side or back sleepers. Available evidence is not enough to give an independent verdict on comfort, support, or durability, so choose by the exact model’s size and loft—and check the listing for your country.
What is the IKEA LUNDTRAV pillow?
LUNDTRAV has a 100% cotton fabric and a filling of 90% duck feathers and 10% duck down, according to IKEA’s regional product listings. IKEA describes low and high versions; those labels refer to pillow loft, not different fill materials. The Singapore catalog also contrasts LUNDTRAV’s cotton shell and feather/down filling with polyester-fill options such as LAPPTÅTEL and SKOGSFRÄKEN. IKEA Singapore catalog
Low or high: which version should you consider?
IKEA associates its low pillow with stomach sleeping and its high pillow with side or back sleeping. That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not individualized sleep or medical advice. The right loft can depend on personal comfort and how the pillow feels with your mattress and usual sleeping position; the available evidence here does not establish a best choice for every sleeper.

What do reviews say about comfort and support?
The available third-party review evidence is narrow and historical. An archived IKEA Canada page’s search result showed a 4.2 rating from 15 reviews; two surfaced comments described the pillow as soft but said it flattened or did not provide enough support for those reviewers. The page could not be opened for verification, and this small market-specific sample is not representative. Archived IKEA Canada review page

What to check before buying
- Confirm whether the local listing is for the low or high version.
- Match pillowcase and protector dimensions to that exact model; the regional examples include both 50 × 60 cm and 50 × 80 cm.
- Verify the local article number and current stock rather than relying on availability shown in another country.
- Consider whether you specifically want animal-derived feather/down filling; IKEA’s catalog lists polyester-fill alternatives, including LAPPTÅTEL and SKOGSFRÄKEN.
- Be prepared to follow the care label and dry the filling fully after washing.
IKEA says a pillow protector can help protect the pillow from stains and dirt. Select one sized for the specific regional pillow dimensions.
