Sam Pang says winning his first Gold Logie has not changed him: “I was annoying and unbearable before it, and nothing has changed.” The comedian and television presenter is returning to Sam Pang Tonight for its third season, with Ten’s schedule reporting a Monday, October 19, 2026 return at 8.40pm.

What to expect from season three
A weekly show, with filming plans still open
Pang said the first season had eight episodes and began early in the previous year, with a second season airing later that year. He could not make the show earlier in 2026 because he was filming Ground Up; Ten agreed to schedule the new episodes after Have You Been Paying Attention? finished.
The first two seasons were filmed live, but the team had not settled whether to film the third season earlier, perhaps earlier in the day. Pang expected the program to remain weekly and described the aim as putting together an entertaining, funny hour of television.
Returning segments and guest announcers
Monday Monologues and Wheel Of Segments were among the regular features expected to return. Guest announcers were also expected to rotate. Pang named Kitty Flanagan, Anne Edmonds, Lawrence Mooney, Tim McDonald and Guy Montgomery as possibilities, but said the roster was still being worked out and would depend on who was in town.

Pang said those appearances felt surreal and hoped guests’ good experiences would encourage others to visit. He also said the program would have four other segments to keep the show going whether or not a major guest was available.

Pang called the year a good one and said he felt fortunate to have variety in his work. He said Sam Pang Tonight, Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Front Bar give him the chance to work with talented people and make jokes about the week’s events.
