Ceifalume 0.1 is a free, cozy idle night-farming game built by a solo developer, Rebocl Brank, in Godot 4. According to the developer’s own release article dated September 23, 2026, it runs in a browser and as an Android APK, needs no account, and was built from a single project. The details below come from that post. They describe the developer’s account of the game and its builds, not an independent review or a compatibility test.
What Ceifalume is
The developer introduces the game in one sentence: “Ceifalume is a small cozy idle night-farming game I just released as a solo dev, made with Godot 4.” The word “idle” matters here. The post describes a game you can leave running rather than one that asks for constant input, and the night setting is the main thing that separates it from the daylight farm games most players will know.
The loop and offline progress
The developer describes a loop of planting, harvesting, and trading in short sessions. The post also lists these features:

The developer’s summary is: “Offline progress up to 8 hours — close the game, come back, the farm moved on.” The cap is the developer’s stated design limit; the post does not describe what happens to progress beyond it.
- Rain that waters fields. Weather is presented as a way to keep crops growing without manual watering.
- Autosave. The post names it as a feature but does not describe its save interval or how it handles a closed browser tab.
- Original music and sound effects. The developer states these are original to the project.
- A pt-BR interface. The game ships with a Brazilian Portuguese interface; the post does not mention other languages.
These are the developer’s descriptions. The post does not include playtime footage analysis, balance data, or player reports, so how often the loop satisfies a session is something only play can show.

Night farming compared with daylight farming
Most farming games run on a day clock. Crops grow while the player is active, and the sun, seasons, or in-game hours set the pace of each session. A night farm changes the emotional rhythm. The game’s appeal, as the developer frames it, rests on a quiet setting and short sessions rather than a long daily checklist. Offline progress reinforces that: the farm keeps working while the player is away, so returning at night feels like checking on a field rather than starting a shift.
That contrast is a design intention the developer describes. The post does not measure whether players prefer night or day schedules, and it makes no claim about how the game compares with other titles.
Where to play and which format to choose
The developer names three access routes: itch.io and GitHub Pages for the browser build, and GitHub Releases for the direct Android APK. The table lists the two exports as the post describes them.

The post gives no tested device list, minimum Android version, or browser support matrix. Readers on older phones or unusual browsers should expect to test for themselves. The APK is larger because, according to the developer, its audio and textures account for most of the size; trimming it is planned for the 0.2 release.
How one project became two exports
The more technical part of the post describes how a single Godot 4 project produced both builds. The developer shares these implementation choices, and none has been independently reproduced.
Browser export
The browser build is an HTML5 export from the same project. The developer packages it as a zip of roughly 13 MB, which is small enough for itch.io or GitHub Pages to host as a static page. The post does not describe loading times or memory use in a browser.

Android export
The Android build is distributed as an APK on GitHub Releases rather than through a store listing, so installing it means allowing installs from that source on the device. The post does not describe signing keys or store submission.
Offline progress implementation
The developer describes the offline system in three steps:
- When the game saves, it stores the current time from
Time.get_unix_time_from_system()alongside the rest of the game state. - When the game loads, it calculates the elapsed time since that saved timestamp.
- It replays that elapsed time as a single delta, capped at eight hours, so the farm advances without requiring the player to be present.
Because the delta is capped, a player who returns after two days sees the same eight-hour progress as one who returns after eight hours. This is the developer’s design choice, and the post does not explain how the cap was tuned.

Portrait layout and desktop margin
The design target is a 720×1600 phone in portrait orientation. Desktop browsers receive extra margin around that layout rather than a separate desktop interface. Readers who play on a wide monitor should expect a phone-shaped view with space around it.

What the developer is asking for
The developer calls the first three days a soft tutorial and asks readers whether the pacing and clarity of that opening work. The question in the post is: “Is it too slow, too fast, unclear?” The post suggests two routes for responses: comments on the post or the itch.io page. Feedback on the first three days is the most useful input at this stage, because the early loop is the part a new player meets before offline progress has any effect.
The developer has not published results from playtests, so the opening remains a hypothesis that the 0.1 release is meant to test.
