Push Square’s six-hour hands-on preview of Phantom Blade Zero took place in Beijing, China, and left the publication with a strongly positive first impression. The available preview listing identifies S-GAME as the developer and PS5 as a platform, but it does not show the gameplay details behind that reaction or establish a release date or full platform list.
What the six-hour preview establishes
Push Square published a listing for a six-hour hands-on session with Phantom Blade Zero during a trip to Beijing, China. Its excerpt characterizes the game as an unusually confident and impressive debut. That is the publication’s overall preview framing; the listing does not provide enough detail to explain which encounters, mechanics, or scenes shaped the impression. Read Push Square’s preview listing.

What is confirmed about the game
- Title: Phantom Blade Zero.
- Developer: S-GAME, as identified by the preview listing.
- Platform: PS5 is associated with the game in that listing.
- Session: Six hours of hands-on play in Beijing, China, according to Push Square’s 9 October 2026 listing.
The listing does not establish a release date or confirm a complete platform lineup. It also does not confirm a physical edition, preorder, or current retail availability.
What the available preview does not reveal
The accessible listing excerpt does not substantiate specific claims about combat systems, boss encounters, story events, performance, or comparisons with other action games. Those details should not be inferred from the headline or from the positive description alone. The supported takeaway is narrower: Push Square spent six hours with the game and came away impressed, while the reasons behind that reaction are not visible in the available excerpt.
