Daniel Ki, a solo Android developer from South Korea, says he has built and published more than 80 apps on Google Play. In a September 29, 2026, DEV Community article, he highlights two: Russian Roulette — Party Game, a one-phone game for choosing who takes a penalty, and Blow Cake — Birthday Celebration, which uses a phone’s microphone to blow out virtual candles. Ki says both apps are made with Flutter and translated into 12 languages.
What Daniel Ki says about his app portfolio
Ki describes himself as a solo Android developer and says he has published over 80 apps on Google Play over the past few years. That total is his own account in his DEV Community article, not an independently audited portfolio count. The article names two favorites to illustrate the range of his work: a group decision game and a lightweight birthday-celebration app.
Ki also reports that both featured apps use Flutter and include translations in 12 languages. Those are his descriptions; no independent technical documentation for either app was established in the sources available here.

Russian Roulette — Party Game: a phone-based way to pick who is “it”
Ki presents Russian Roulette — Party Game as a turn-taking party game for deciding who is “it” or must take a penalty. Google Play describes it as a one-phone game for 2–10 players, with three modes—Trigger, Spin, and Pistol—and a penalty picker that offers built-in or custom penalties. The listing says it involves no real firearms or violence.

How the two apps differ
| App | Occasion | Interaction | Phone use described |
|---|---|---|---|
| Russian Roulette — Party Game | Choosing a player or penalty in a group | Players take turns; the listing names Trigger, Spin, and Pistol modes | Google Play describes it as a one-phone game |
| Blow Cake — Birthday Celebration | Marking a birthday, including remotely | Blow toward the microphone to extinguish virtual candles | Uses microphone input, according to Ki’s description |
The first app addresses a group decision; the second creates a brief celebratory gesture. These distinctions reflect the author’s account and the Play listing, not hands-on testing.
