Hulu says subscribers who signed up before September 23, 2026 will see a price change in a billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. October 21 is not a universal charge date: your billing cycle determines when the change reaches your account. Hulu currently lists its ad-supported Live TV bundle at $99.99 per month after a limited first-month offer, but that does not establish your old rate or personal increase. Check your Hulu billing notice for your exact amount and date.

When will the Hulu + Live TV price change take effect?

Hulu’s Help Center, in an update dated September 30, 2026, says subscribers who joined before September 23 will see a price change in their billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. Because billing cycles differ, the change may appear after October 21 for many subscribers; Hulu does not say every account will be charged on that day. See Hulu’s plans and prices notice for its timing guidance.

Hulu’s notice and current Live TV product page do not establish the previous price or exact increase for every legacy account. Use the amount in your own account or billing notice rather than assuming that the difference between two listed prices is your personal increase.

These are Hulu’s listed prices for the combinations shown; check the account’s current offer and terms before signing up or changing plans. Hulu’s Live TV page shows the current plan details.

Introductory offer is not the ongoing price

Hulu advertises an eligible new- and returning-subscriber offer of $49.99 for one month, followed by $99.99 per month or the then-current regular price. The offer is stated to end at 9:00 a.m. PT on October 26, 2026, and is subject to eligibility, exclusions, regional restrictions, blackouts and other terms. It should not be treated as the price for existing subscribers or as a permanent rate.

How to check your account’s exact amount and date

  1. Sign in to your Hulu account and open the account or subscription and billing details.
  2. Confirm the plan name, current charge and next billing date.
  3. Review Hulu’s billing notice for the account-specific price and effective cycle. The general guidance for subscribers who joined before September 23 is a change in a cycle on or after October 21.
  4. If the price no longer suits you, review the plans and add-ons available on your account before making a change.

What are you getting with the Live TV bundles?

Hulu advertises more than 100 live channels and Unlimited DVR. Hulu says DVR recordings can be stored for up to nine months; unlimited DVR does not apply to on-demand shows. Channel availability depends on location, and Hulu’s terms note regional restrictions and blackouts. Check the channel lineup for your area rather than assuming a particular local station or event is included.

Roku Ultra, Ultimate Streaming Player - 4K Streaming Device for TV
  • Ultra-speedy streaming: Roku Ultra is 30% faster than any other Roku player, delivering a lightning-fast interface and apps that launch in a snap.
  • Cinematic streaming: This TV streaming device brings the movie theater to your living room with spectacular 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision picture alongside immersive Dolby Atmos audio.
  • The ultimate Roku remote: The rechargeable Roku Voice Remote Pro offers backlit buttons, hands-free voice controls, and a lost remote finder.
  • No more fumbling in the dark: See what you’re pressing with backlit buttons.
  • Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.

The bundles combine Live TV with Hulu’s streaming library, Disney+ and ESPN Select, but the ad experience differs. The higher-priced Hulu Premium combination makes the Hulu streaming library ad-free; Hulu says live TV and on-demand content supplied through the Live TV plan still include ads. Premium-network and expanded-screen add-ons may cost extra.

Should you keep the plan or switch?

Compare the full monthly cost after any promotion with what you actually use. In particular, consider whether you watch the included Disney+ and ESPN services, whether ad-free viewing in the Hulu library matters to you, which local channels and live programming are available in your area, how much you rely on DVR, and whether you pay for add-ons.
