The often-quoted $350-off HP Envy RTX 4060 deal was a July 22, 2025 Best Buy promotion, not a confirmed current offer. HotHardware reported the HP Envy TE01-5364 at $1,079.99, while a later Best Buy listing showed $1,072.99 but marked the computer sold out. Treat both prices as historical and verify live stock and checkout pricing before buying.
What the HP Envy TE01-5364 deal included
The model was HP Envy TE01-5364 (Best Buy SKU 6573476). HP’s February 6, 2024 datasheet lists this configuration:

These are datasheet specifications, not independent benchmark results. No hands-on testing or frame-rate measurements were reported for this desktop.
Historical pricing and availability
- $1,079.99, $350 off: HotHardware’s July 22, 2025 report described this as Best Buy’s Deal of the Day.
- $1,072.99, $357 off: A later Best Buy listing displayed this clearance price but identified the product as sold out.
Because the promotion and the later listing are dated, neither price should be presented as a buyable deal on October 3, 2026. Check the retailer’s product page, seller, checkout total and return policy immediately before purchasing.

Was the monitor included?
No. The monitor shown in the original deal image was not part of the package. The deal report said the computer included only a basic mouse and keyboard. A product photo that shows a monitor should therefore be captioned clearly as illustrative rather than bundled equipment.
How to judge a replacement gaming-PC deal
A large discount can conceal an older platform, less memory or a weaker graphics card. Compare the complete configuration and the amount you can actually pay:

- Confirm the final price and deadline. Record whether the price requires a coupon, membership or one-time promotion, and whether tax or shipping changes the total.
- Identify the GPU and VRAM. The graphics-card model and memory capacity usually matter more to gaming performance than the advertised discount percentage.
- Check the CPU model. Note the exact generation and suffix, especially whether the chip is intended for a desktop and whether integrated graphics are absent.
- Check RAM capacity and generation. A 32GB DDR4 system and a 32GB DDR5 system are not identical platforms, even though their capacities match.
- Check storage type and capacity. Confirm that the advertised drive is an SSD, its interface, and whether there is room for expansion.
- Verify what is in the box. Look for an operating system, keyboard, mouse, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and any monitor separately.
- Verify seller, stock and returns. Marketplace sellers, clearance inventory and refurbished units can have different warranty and return terms.

A dated example of why sale dates matter
TechRadar reported an iBuyPower Labor Day promotion for an RDY Element 9 Pro R08 at $2,099, down from $2,549, with code LABORDAY. Its listed hardware was a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5-6000, Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB and a 2TB NVMe SSD. The article said the promotion ended September 8, 2026, so it is expired and should not be treated as an available alternative.
Should you buy the HP Envy if it reappears?
If a legitimate retailer relists TE01-5364, judge the live price against newer systems using the full checklist above. Its 32GB of memory and 1TB NVMe SSD are clearly stated, but the RTX 4060 has 8GB of VRAM and the platform uses DDR4. Confirm warranty coverage, upgrade access, seller identity and whether the listing is new, refurbished or clearance stock before paying.

Bottom line
The HP Envy RTX 4060 headline was accurate for a July 2025 Best Buy Deal of the Day, but it is not evidence of a current sale. The later $1,072.99 listing was sold out. For a replacement, compare the exact GPU and VRAM, CPU, RAM generation, storage, included accessories, final payable price and return terms—not the size of the claimed discount.
