Yes, you can watch NFL games abroad, but your usual U.S. access may not follow you. For Americans traveling outside the United States, DAZN’s NFL Travel Pass is the main international option identified by the NFL and DAZN. DAZN says it supports NFL Game Pass in more than 200 countries, while excluding the United States, Canada and China. Live-game rights and blackouts still depend on the country you are visiting. NFL+ remains a U.S.-only service.
Before you leave, check the destination-specific DAZN terms, the week’s local listings and whether your device or television requires a participating cable or streaming-provider login.
Start with your home country and destination
NFL viewing rights are determined primarily by where you are watching, not simply by where you bought your subscription. A U.S. subscriber, a Canadian subscriber and a viewer whose home service is based in the United Kingdom can face different rules in the same destination.

Record these details before travel
- Your home country and the service you currently pay for.
- The country or countries you will visit, including transit stops where you might watch.
- The games you most want to see and whether live viewing is essential.
- The devices you will use: phone, tablet, computer, smart television or connected-TV player.
- Whether your television or NFL application normally uses a cable or streaming-provider sign-in.
Use those details when checking the official DAZN destination page, NFL support information and local broadcaster listings. Do not assume that a U.S. login, a familiar application or a home-country subscription will automatically work abroad.
Which viewing route fits your trip?

How DAZN NFL Travel Pass works for U.S. travelers
DAZN’s help documentation states: “NFL Travel Pass on DAZN allows American’s traveling outside the U.S. to watch DAZN’s NFL Game Pass product internationally in over 200 countries around the world*.” The asterisk is important: DAZN separately excludes the United States, Canada and China, and destination rights can impose additional restrictions.

- Open DAZN’s current NFL Travel Pass information while you are still at home.
- Enter or select the country you will visit and read the eligibility statement for that destination.
- Confirm that the product is intended for your situation as an American traveling outside the United States, rather than assuming any existing NFL subscription converts automatically.
- Read the current blackout, device, account and billing terms.
- Save the official support page and your account-recovery details so you can troubleshoot without relying on a U.S. text message or home Wi-Fi connection.
“Over 200 countries” is DAZN’s stated scope, not a promise that every country has an identical schedule. Recheck the destination page immediately before travel because rights, supported countries and restrictions can change during a season.

What the international product is intended to cover
The NFL describes DAZN NFL Game Pass as the international route for every NFL game live, with the qualification that broadcast rights and blackouts still apply. That makes it the most direct starting point when your priority is broad league coverage rather than one locally televised matchup.
UK and Republic of Ireland: the important live-game exception
DAZN’s 2026 guidance for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland says that two Sunday regular-season games are blacked out live each week. DAZN says those games become available on demand 24 hours after the game ends. The broadcaster selects the affected games, and DAZN warns that additional restrictions may be implemented.
Therefore, a traveler who needs every Sunday game live should not rely on DAZN alone in these two markets without checking that week’s schedule. A delayed replay is not a substitute if you need to watch in real time or avoid spoilers.

Why NFL+ usually will not work for an overseas trip
NFL support states that NFL+ is available only in the United States and directs viewers outside the country to DAZN. An NFL+ subscription can therefore remain useful when you return to the U.S., but it is not the international travel product.
Do not confuse an NFL.com account with international viewing rights. An account may let you sign in, while the service still blocks playback because your current location is outside the United States or because the game belongs to another broadcaster.
Confirm devices, applications and authentication
Connected-TV viewing is possible in principle, but compatibility is not automatic. NFL support discusses connected-TV applications and NFL.com desktop viewing while noting that some playback paths may require a cable or streaming-provider sign-in. DAZN’s application support and the television manufacturer’s availability can also vary by country.
Use this device checklist
- Install or update the DAZN application before leaving home, then sign in once while your account and recovery methods are working normally.
- Check whether the application is offered in the destination country’s app store.
- Test the exact television, phone, tablet or computer you plan to carry.
- Verify that your subscription credentials are separate from any cable or local streaming-provider credentials the device may request.
- Bring a second viewing method, such as a computer browser or mobile device, in case the hotel television does not support the application.
- Do not buy a connected-TV player solely because it is advertised as compatible with NFL viewing; confirm DAZN support for the model and destination first.
A device that works at home can still fail abroad because the application catalog, rights check or provider authentication is location-dependent.

A practical pre-departure procedure
- Write down the destination. Include every country where you expect to watch, not just the final destination.
- Identify your current subscription. Mark whether it is NFL+, DAZN Game Pass, a cable package or another local service.
- Check the official international route. For a U.S. traveler, review DAZN NFL Travel Pass and confirm that your destination is eligible. Remember that DAZN explicitly excludes the U.S., Canada and China.
- Open the destination’s weekly schedule. Check the exact games, kickoff dates and live or on-demand labels rather than relying on a general “every game” description.
- Look for local broadcasters. The NFL’s country listing may show a free-to-air channel or a pay-TV provider that carries the game your international subscription cannot show live.
- Check blackout timing. In the UK and Republic of Ireland, identify the two Sunday games that will be delayed and note their 24-hour on-demand release.
- Verify account access. Test your password, two-factor authentication, recovery email and any cable or streaming-provider credentials.
- Test the intended device. Play available content on the same device and application you will use during the trip.
- Save official support contacts. Keep the current DAZN and NFL help pages available offline or in your bookmarks.
- Recheck immediately before kickoff. A broadcaster can change the selected games or impose another restriction during the season.
What to do when a game is missing or blocked
The service says your country is unsupported
Stop before attempting repeated logins. Check that the destination is entered correctly and read the current DAZN eligibility page. If the country is excluded or the product is not offered there, look for the official local broadcaster instead. A home-country NFL+ subscription will not solve an international eligibility restriction.
The game appears but cannot play live
First check the destination schedule and blackout notice. In the UK and Republic of Ireland, the affected Sunday games are intentionally withheld live and released 24 hours after the conclusion. If the listing identifies a local broadcaster, use that provider’s official service if you are eligible.
The application opens but asks for another login
The request may be for a cable or streaming-provider account rather than your NFL or DAZN credentials. NFL support specifically warns that connected-TV apps and NFL.com desktop viewing can require provider authentication. Confirm which account the screen requests and whether that provider has rights in your current country.
A television cannot find the application
Check the destination app store, the television model and DAZN’s supported-device information. Use a computer or mobile device as a fallback. Do not assume that an HDMI streaming player will add DAZN access if the service or model is not supported in that country.

The schedule changed after you planned your trip
Refresh the official weekly listing. Broadcast partners choose some locally televised games, and DAZN says further restrictions may be introduced. Treat the listing for the specific week as authoritative rather than an old screenshot or a generic service description.
Prices, billing and cancellation
No current destination-specific price was published for NFL Travel Pass, NFL Game Pass International or any local broadcaster. Prices can differ by country, plan duration, taxes and promotional terms. Check the checkout page for the country where you will watch and confirm whether the charge is recurring, one-time or tied to a particular travel period.
Do not infer eligibility from a price displayed while you are physically in your home country. Confirm that the product remains usable in the destination, read the cancellation deadline and retain the receipt or subscription confirmation.
How to choose when you need one particular game
- Need the broadest international schedule: Start with DAZN NFL Travel Pass or NFL Game Pass International, then verify the destination’s blackouts.
- Need a Sunday game in the UK or Ireland live: Check whether DAZN has selected it for the two-game blackout, then look at Sky Sports, 5’s platforms or Virgin Media Television according to your country.
- Already pay for NFL+: Treat it as U.S.-only and find the international or local option before departure.
- Watching on a hotel television: Verify the exact application and sign-in path, and keep a computer or mobile fallback.
- Watching in Canada or China: DAZN’s stated NFL Travel Pass exclusions mean you must check the local rights holder rather than assuming the travel product applies.
The safest plan is destination-first: establish which service has rights where you will be, confirm whether the game is live, and test the account and device before travel.
