Start with SpaceX’s official launch listing, open the current Starship mission, and use that mission page’s WATCH entry. Before you plan around a countdown, check that the mission is upcoming: SpaceX’s Flight 14 page records a liftoff on September 28, 2026, so that page is historical, not a future launch announcement.
Find the official Starship livestream
- Open SpaceX’s launch listing. Find the Starship mission you want to watch and confirm that it is listed as upcoming. Do not assume an old mission page or countdown describes the next flight.
- Open the mission page. Use its WATCH entry to reach the stream associated with that mission.
- Use SpaceX’s video page as another official route. It also features Starship coverage with a WATCH entry. Check that the stream corresponds to the mission you intend to watch.
These routes help distinguish official mission coverage from a repost or commentary stream. A third-party stream may be useful for alternate commentary, but verify its official status and any schedule claims against SpaceX’s own pages.
Check that the launch is still upcoming
Launch dates and times for Starship development tests can change. The SpaceX launch listing and its Starship updates page are the places to recheck for the current mission and changes. Look again close to launch, rather than relying on an old countdown, a saved link, or a date repeated in a repost.

As of October 13, 2026, the Flight 14 mission page described a launch from Starbase, Texas, on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 7:48 a.m. CT. That is a record of a past event, not an announcement of an upcoming flight. A page remaining accessible—or a video still being available to watch—does not by itself mean its launch time is current.

Verify a launch-time change before sharing it
- Return to SpaceX’s launch listing and check the mission’s current status and date.
- Check SpaceX’s Starship updates page for program or timing updates.
- Open the mission page’s WATCH entry again near the event, so you are following the stream attached to the relevant mission.
- If a repost or third-party page gives a different time, compare it with the official pages before relying on or sharing it.
Use the time shown for the specific mission and retain its stated time zone. The Flight 14 time above is in Central Time (CT); it should not be reused as the time for another flight.
When does the webcast start?
Do not assume every Starship webcast begins a fixed number of minutes before liftoff. A result for one flight mentioned an approximately 30-minute lead time, but it was not established as an official SpaceX channel or a universal policy. Follow the timing shown on the current official mission or video page instead.

Which source should you trust?
For the mission stream and schedule, prefer SpaceX’s launch listing, mission page, video page, and Starship updates page. Third-party coverage can add commentary, but its stream status and timing should be checked independently. Because launch timing and live-watch availability can change quickly, verify the official listing again immediately before you plan to watch.
