What does Criminal Profile measure?
Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson described the system as responding to patterns in criminal behavior, especially consistent actions beyond what a situation requires. As reported by GamesRadar+, Nelson said: “If you’re doing things on mission that you are required to do – or you’re robbing places, or somebody comes and messes with you and you have to deal with them by smacking them down or whatever – that’s all fair game.” He added: “It’s when you go beyond what is necessary on a consistent basis, or you do completely unnecessary stuff consistently, that you may start to sway your criminal profile in a certain direction.”
That points to context and repeated conduct, not a confirmed score for every individual action. The cited material does not establish numerical weights, thresholds, named tiers, or specific story consequences.

Is GTA 6’s Criminal Profile the same as RDR2 honor?
Not based on the information available. “Honor rank” may be a convenient way to describe what players are looking for, but developer comments call the GTA VI system Criminal Profile and frame it around the protagonists’ criminal conduct and the story. Nelson told GamesRadar+: “This is a story about a couple on the run. We have tried to make the systems and the design support our narrative when and wherever possible.” The comments do not establish a simple good-versus-evil meter like the one many players associate with Red Dead Redemption 2.

How is Criminal Profile different from Wanted level?
Criminal Profile is reported as a broader behavioral profile; Wanted level concerns the immediate law-enforcement response to a crime. Pre-release coverage treats them as separate systems, but the complete final-game rules have not been established in the cited sources.
