If a ticket or other pass has a “Save to phone” button, use it to start the Google Wallet save flow for that specific pass. The button is provided by the pass issuer; after tapping it, accept the requested terms, choose a device if prompted, and tap View in Wallet. If an error appears or the pass is missing, Google says there may be an issue with the pass and recommends contacting the issuer.
Where to find the “Save to phone” button
Start in the issuer’s app or website—the place where you bought or manage the ticket, card, or other pass. Look in sections such as Tickets, Passes, or Cards, then tap the issuer’s Google Wallet button. Google’s instructions for adding items to Google Wallet describe this issuer-led route.
This is a pass-specific flow, not a universal option in the Wallet app’s general Add menu. Whether the button appears depends on the issuer supporting Wallet for that pass. Google Wallet supports categories including event tickets, boarding passes, transit passes, loyalty cards, and gift cards, but availability can vary by pass type and region.
Complete the save flow
- Open the pass in the issuer’s app or website and tap Save to phone or Add to Google Wallet.
- Review and accept the terms shown by Google Wallet and the issuer.
- If prompted to choose a device, select the phone where you want the pass.
- Tap View in Wallet to finish and check the pass in Google Wallet.
The issuer’s button starts the process, but it does not guarantee that every pass will save successfully. Google’s developer documentation describes issuer-created save links and Android integrations; issuers control how their passes are made available.

- 📲 WORKS ON ALL MODERN PHONES: The NFC tap works on current smartphones, and the QR code covers phones without NFC. No app download and no setup for the customer.
- 🎯 EASY SETUP: Each card takes under 2 minutes to set up. Instructions are included and customer support is available to help. See the taps on every card in the included TapFive account.
If the pass does not show up
First return to the issuer’s account and confirm that you are viewing the right pass. Check that you used the correct account and selected the intended device if Wallet offered a choice. These checks can help identify a mismatch, but they are not guaranteed fixes.
If Wallet displays an error or the pass remains absent, contact the issuer. Google’s guidance says an error may mean there is an issue with the pass; the issuer is the appropriate place to ask about its validity or Wallet support. A missing pass by itself does not establish that Google Wallet is generally malfunctioning.

- SLIM WALLET TRACKER FOR ANDROID: MiCard is a slim tracker card designed for Android users. It works with the Google Find My Device (Find Hub) app on phones running Android 9 or later. As thin as a credit card, it easily fits into wallets, luggage, backpacks, or passport holders to help you track important items.
- WIRELESS RECHARGEABLE BLUETOOTH TRACKER CARD: This wallet tracker features a built-in rechargeable battery with wireless charging capability. A single charge can last for months, and the battery is designed to last up to 5 years with regular use. (Charger NOT included.)
- PLAY SOUND TO FIND NEARBY ITEMS: Within Bluetooth range (up to 500 ft / 150 m), you can view the tracker’s location and activate a loud sound using the Google Find Hub app or voice commands, making it easy to locate misplaced wallets, bags, or travel items.
- GLOBAL ANDROID NETWORK TRACKING: When your tracker is outside Bluetooth range, nearby Android devices in the Find My network help update its last known location. You can check the map and share tracker access with family or friends to help recover lost belongings.
- SECURE & PRIVATE LOCATION TRACKING: The Find My network uses encrypted and anonymous communication to protect your privacy. Location data remains secure, and the tracker does not store location history, ensuring safe and reliable tracking.
Moving a pass to another device
Some passes are limited to one device. If you need to move one, follow the issuer’s instructions for that particular pass; Google notes that a transfer may require manually moving it. Do not assume that saving the pass on a second phone will automatically remove or transfer it from the first.

- Compatible with Pixelsnap (Google Pixel 10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL / 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Pro XL): This slim magnetic card holder combines credit card and ID storage with a sturdy fold-out media kickstand for hands-free viewing.
- Pixel-Perfect Fit: The Snap-8 wallet features a raised magnetic array engineered for the Pixel 10 and 11, eliminating the misalignment and camera-bar interference caused by standard MagSafe wallets, whose low-set rings often collide with the lens edge on many Pixel case designs.
- Holds 3 Cards + ID: Textured PU leather sleeve holds up to three cards in the front slot with a push-through opening for easy access. Precision-fit design locks cards in place so they won’t slide out, even with just one card. Flip open the wallet for an additional interior slot with a transparent window for your photo ID.
- Multi-Angle Stand: Sturdy metal hinge keeps your phone propped up securely in both portrait and landscape modes without wobbling or collapsing. The wallet is constructed of original Nugan leather, an engineered multi-layer material that is both more durable and softer to the touch than standard vegan-leather alternatives.
- Strong Magnetic Grip: Engineered with high-strength internal magnets to align with Google’s Pixelsnap system for a firm, reliable hold that won’t slip or detach during everyday use.
Create a pass from a photo
For supported items, Google Wallet can create a pass from a photo. This is an alternative when a pass is available as an image rather than through an issuer’s Wallet button; it does not make every image a fully supported or updateable pass.
Convert some downloaded passes
Some downloaded files can be converted into Wallet passes, but converted passes may have limited functionality and may not receive updates. If the issuer offers a direct Wallet button, that issuer-provided route is generally the clearer way to add the pass and retain issuer-specific behavior.

Why the issuer’s button matters
“Save to phone” is often the issuer’s label for a Wallet save link. Google’s developer documentation explains that issuers can distribute signed save links through channels such as email, text messages, websites, or apps, and can also integrate Wallet through Android tools. The button’s presence therefore reflects support from the pass issuer, not a guarantee that every ticket seller or merchant offers Wallet for every item.
