Open an upcoming title’s details page and choose Remind Me. Netflix saves it in the Reminders You’ve Set row under My Netflix on supported TV and mobile layouts. When the title is released, it moves to My List; Netflix may also show an in-app notification or send an email.
Find Netflix’s upcoming titles
Netflix places future releases in different rows and shortcuts depending on your device and account layout. Its help guidance lists New & Popular, Latest, and New & Hot as possible destinations, and titles can also appear in New on Netflix or Top 10 rows. On a TV
On an updated Netflix TV experience, the former New & Popular shortcut may no longer appear. Browse the homepage or title-page rows labeled New on Netflix or Top 10, or search directly for the show or movie. Menu names and placement vary by TV app version. Netflix describes the current TV layout at this Help Center page.

In the mobile app, look for New & Hot among the top shortcuts. Netflix says this area can include Coming Soon, Everyone’s Watching, and Top 10. You can also use Search. Details about the mobile navigation are in Netflix’s mobile-layout guide.

Set a “Remind Me” alert
- Open Netflix and select the upcoming show or movie.
- On the title details page, look for a future release date and select Remind Me. Netflix only displays this control when it has a qualifying upcoming release listing.
- Confirm that the control changes to a check mark. The title is now saved to your reminder list.
Netflix’s official wording is: “On Netflix you may see future release dates for a TV show or movie with an option to Remind Me.” The complete instructions are at How to be reminded of upcoming TV shows or movies.
View or cancel reminders
Find everything you saved
Open My Netflix on a TV or mobile device and locate the Reminders You’ve Set row. Searching for a title can also show whether a reminder is active.

Remove one reminder
Open the title and select the check mark (the control that replaced Remind Me). This stops the reminder. The title is not deleted from Netflix or from other lists unless you remove it separately.
What happens when the title is released?
After release, Netflix places a title that had a reminder in My List. Netflix also says you may see a Netflix notification and receive an email, but the exact alert channel is not guaranteed. The reminder row and My List are therefore the dependable places to check.

Why a date or reminder may change
Release dates are not permanent. Netflix says dates can move because of video-production delays or while licensing contracts are finalized. If a date changes, Netflix says the title will appear again once a new date has been identified. A title you marked for a reminder appears in My List after it becomes available. Understand the release time
Netflix does not use one universal release schedule. According to Netflix’s release-time guidance:

Use the date shown on the title page as the current reference, and check again if the title does not appear when expected.

Troubleshoot missing notifications
A reminder can be saved even when push alerts are blocked. Check both your device permission and Netflix’s profile-level settings.

iPhone or iPad
Open the device’s Settings, choose Notifications, select Netflix, and allow notifications. iOS and iPadOS control this permission outside the Netflix app.
Android
- Open Netflix and select My Netflix.
- Tap your profile name.
- Choose App Settings.
- Turn on Allow Notifications.
Check Netflix account notification categories
Netflix also lets you manage profile-level push categories from the notification settings on your Account page. If device permission is enabled but alerts are still absent, review those categories and make sure you are using the profile that set the reminder. A practical way to track a long list of releases
- Use Remind Me only for titles you genuinely plan to watch.
- Check My Netflix > Reminders You’ve Set periodically rather than relying on a single push alert.
- After a release, look in My List if you missed the notification.
- For a title with no reminder control, save its name and search again later; Netflix only offers reminders when it shows a future release date.
- If the date disappears, wait for Netflix to publish a replacement date because production or licensing changes can temporarily remove it.
