Bootstrap Footer V10 is a newsletter-focused footer layout with a signup call to action, three link columns, and rounded form styling, according to Colorlib’s September 28, 2026 guide. It can give a site a starting point for collecting email subscribers, but the visible form is not proof that submissions reach a mailing-list service. You will need to confirm or build that connection before using it to collect addresses.
What Bootstrap Footer V10 includes
Colorlib describes V10 as a free, Bootstrap-ready footer designed to encourage newsletter signups. Its layout puts a persuasive line above the subscribe form, followed by three columns of links; the form uses rounded styling. Colorlib says its footer collection was rebuilt using plain HTML and CSS and can be used on its own or inside Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. That is a description of the collection overall: the exact V10 download and its dependencies were not independently inspected. Check the package files before assuming which framework or assets a particular download requires.

That is not established. An email field and subscribe button only show the form’s appearance; they do not show whether it validates addresses, submits data, stores consent, or sends addresses to a mailing-list platform. The V10 backend and live submission behavior have not been verified.

Before publishing, connect the form to your mailing-list provider or a server endpoint, add the consent and privacy information appropriate for your audience, and submit a test address. Confirm both the successful signup path and what happens when a submission fails. Do not collect real subscriber addresses until you have verified where the data goes and how it is handled.
How to adapt the footer for your site
- Choose the layout: Decide whether the prominent signup call to action and three link columns suit your site’s footer.
- Replace the sample content: Write a clear, accurate signup invitation and replace the link labels and destinations with your own. Remove any links or text that do not belong on your site.
- Match your design: Adjust colors, type, spacing, and form styling to fit the rest of the site. Check the footer at narrow and wide viewport sizes; responsive behavior for V10 has not been independently established.
- Connect the form: Set its submission destination to your mailing-list service or server endpoint. Make sure the integration handles validation and communicates success or failure to the visitor.
- Test the whole flow: Submit a test address and verify that it reaches the intended list or system. Also check keyboard use, visible labels, focus states, and the wording that explains what visitors are signing up for.
Check the license before using a free template
“Free” does not mean every template has the same usage terms. If you are considering a BootstrapMade template, BootstrapMade’s official license page says its free templates are for personal projects, require retaining the “Designed by BootstrapMade” credit, and cannot be used for client work or work you charge for. The page also excludes the working PHP/AJAX contact-form script, Sass/SCSS source files, and support from the free license.

BootstrapMade describes its paid Pro license as permitting personal and commercial or client work and allowing credit removal. Its Premium Plan page also advertises template and builder access, use on unlimited domains, Sass/SCSS files, and support. These are BootstrapMade terms, not terms for Colorlib’s V10 or other vendors’ templates. Review the current license for the exact download you plan to use; terms and prices can change.
