BlueStacks can add keyboard controls and replay recorded clicks in AFK Arena, but its macro example automates repeated stage transitions—not the decisions made during combat. BlueStacks’ published guide outlines the setup below; the specific controls and macro sequence have not been independently tested against current releases, so check them in your installed version.
What BlueStacks automation does—and what it does not
AFK Arena has its own auto-battle. BlueStacks adds a separate layer: keyboard mapping for manual input and macros that replay recorded actions. BlueStacks’ guide describes using a macro to click through stage entry, battle start, and the results screen while the game handles the fight. It does not demonstrate a macro choosing heroes, judging battle conditions, or making other strategic decisions.
The game’s Google Play listing describes its own feature this way: “Auto-battle your way to victory and earn rewards even while offline.” That is a statement from the AFK Arena listing, whose developer is LilithGames—not a description of BlueStacks macros.
Install AFK Arena in BlueStacks
BlueStacks’ published setup sequence is to install its emulator, sign in to Google Play, install AFK Arena, and launch it. Google sign-in may be deferred during setup, but Play Store access requires completing it. These are the guide’s instructions, not a recently verified walkthrough.

- Download and install BlueStacks on your Windows PC.
- Open BlueStacks and sign in with a Google account to access the Play Store. If you defer sign-in, complete it before installing the game.
- Search the Play Store for AFK Arena and select the game in the results.
- Choose the install option and wait for installation to finish.
- Open the AFK Arena icon from the BlueStacks home screen. Complete any in-game sign-in required for your account.
Use keyboard mapping for more deliberate control
BlueStacks says AFK Arena has a predefined keyboard-control scheme and that players can add shortcuts for other features. Its guide also describes turning off the game’s auto-battle and assigning hero ultimate abilities to keyboard keys. That approach is intended for players who want to time ultimates manually in a difficult fight instead of letting auto-battle handle them. These control options and their behavior are BlueStacks’ claims; current availability may vary by version.
Open the BlueStacks controls editor for the game to inspect the existing bindings and add or change shortcuts. Labels and locations can differ between BlueStacks versions, so use the current on-screen control editor rather than assuming an older guide’s exact UI path still applies. A keyboard and mouse are the relevant accessories for this method, but gaming-grade peripherals are not established as necessary.

Record a macro for repeated stage transitions
BlueStacks’ example uses a recorded click sequence to repeat the routine around a fight. The macro can replay those clicks, but it relies on the game reaching the expected screens and completing combat as anticipated. Treat it as a version-sensitive convenience, not a guaranteed unattended progression system.
- From the game map, start a BlueStacks macro recording.
- Click into the stage you want to play.
- Start the battle, then allow the game’s auto-battle to run until victory.
- Close the results screen to return to the map.
- Stop the recording, then use BlueStacks’ macro controls to replay the recorded sequence or bind the combo to a key, if those options appear in your version.
Check the first replay before relying on repetition: a changed screen, timing, result, or game update can make recorded clicks land in the wrong place. BlueStacks’ guide presents this approach as a way to automate stage advancement; it does not show fully automated gameplay decisions. BlueStacks and Google Play Games on PC are different options
Google Play currently lists AFK Arena: Companions as playable on Windows through Google Play Games on PC. Its listing says returning players can link a Classic Server account and transfer heroes. That statement does not establish that every account or all progress transfers, or that BlueStacks installations share state with Google Play Games. Confirm the game identity, server, and account route before changing platforms.

Google Play’s PC requirements apply to Google Play Games on PC, not BlueStacks. The listing described AFK Arena: Companions and showed 10M+ downloads when accessed October 7, 2026; that displayed figure is not an independently audited count. BlueStacks 5 PC requirements
BlueStacks Support’s article dated August 9, 2024, lists the following requirements. They are BlueStacks-published specifications, not an independent compatibility test for a particular AFK Arena release.

BlueStacks Support says Windows 7 or 8 users can use BlueStacks versions 5.21.300 and below, while the latest BlueStacks features require Windows 10 or above. Requirements can change; consult BlueStacks Support’s BlueStacks 5 system requirements for the vendor’s published details.

Using multiple BlueStacks instances
BlueStacks’ guide also describes multi-instance use for accessing multiple accounts and using heroes across accounts for unions. It says each instance requires about 2 GB of RAM and that the number of instances is limited by available RAM. This is a BlueStacks guide claim; current compatibility and account-policy implications are not established here. Multiple instances can also compete for system resources, so do not treat the per-instance figure as a guarantee of smooth performance.
