To shop at Old Navy with Afterpay, open the Afterpay app, search for Old Navy, select the store listing, and shop through that listing. At checkout, choose an Afterpay plan if one is offered, then review the payment schedule and order total before confirming. Approval and available plans depend on the order and your eligibility.
How to use Afterpay for an Old Navy purchase
- Open the Afterpay app. Search for Old Navy and open its store listing. Afterpay’s Old Navy instructions direct shoppers to start there.
- Shop through the Old Navy listing. Add the items you want and proceed to checkout.
- Select an available Afterpay plan. Review the plan shown for your purchase; the available option can depend on eligibility and the order.
- Complete the account prompts. If you are new to Afterpay, follow the prompts to provide or confirm account and payment details. Returning customers sign in. Afterpay makes an approval decision for each order and says it does not approve every order.
- Review the complete cost and schedule. Check the amount due now, later payment dates, any disclosed finance fee, and the final total including taxes and shipping. Afterpay says payment estimates exclude taxes and shipping, which are added at checkout.
- Confirm the purchase and track payments. After checkout, check your Afterpay account for the schedule and pay by the dates shown.
If you are shopping directly on Old Navy’s website or app, use the payment options displayed for that particular order. Afterpay’s published Old Navy instructions establish the in-app store-listing flow, but do not establish that Afterpay will appear in every direct Old Navy checkout. If it is not offered there, try shopping through Old Navy’s listing in the Afterpay app.

Which Afterpay plan might Old Navy offer?
Afterpay’s Old Navy listing describes Pay in 4, generally spread over six weeks, and monthly plans over 3, 6, 12, or 24 months. Those monthly terms are subject to eligibility and availability; they are not guaranteed for every shopper or order. The plan and terms presented at your checkout are the ones to review before accepting.

Who can use Afterpay in the United States?
According to Afterpay’s US eligibility guidance, a customer must be at least 18, live in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia, be able to enter a legally binding contract, provide a verifiable email address and mobile number, give a US delivery address, and be authorized to use an accepted payment method. Meeting those baseline requirements does not guarantee approval for a purchase.
Why might Afterpay not appear or approve an order?
Afterpay evaluates orders individually. Its stated considerations include whether your payment method can cover the first installment, your account and payment history, your current outstanding balance, the order value, and the number of open orders. Available spending amounts and approval can change. If Afterpay is missing from a direct Old Navy checkout, check that order’s displayed payment methods or use the Afterpay app’s Old Navy listing; if an order is declined, the decision is specific to that order.

Can an Afterpay purchase earn Navyist Rewards?
Gap Inc.’s Navyist Rewards terms say qualifying purchases made with Afterpay can earn points at the program’s applicable rate. Points depend on the program’s qualification rules and exclusions, so do not assume every dollar in a cart earns points regardless of discounts or account conditions.
