Unlock Venom’s President Ozzy costume through the free reward track in Marvel Rivals’ Jeff’s Dream Eater event: join matches, earn XP, and progress until the costume is awarded. The announced event runs from September 17, 2026, at 09:00 UTC through October 15, 2026, at 09:00 UTC.
How to unlock President Ozzy
- Launch Marvel Rivals while Jeff’s Dream Eater is active.
- Open Jeff’s Dream Eater from the in-game events menu.
- Join matches and earn XP to progress through the event’s free track. Continue until President Ozzy is awarded.
- Open the Heroes tab, select Venom, and choose President Ozzy from his costume list.
The official announcement describes match participation and XP as the progression method. It does not specify a verified XP total or numbered reward tier for the costume, so check the live event track rather than relying on a guessed threshold. Is President Ozzy really free?
Yes. The official patch notes say the event awards Venom’s President Ozzy costume and related bundle content for free. The premium track applies to other rewards, including Rogue’s Slumber Sugah and Jeff the Land Shark’s Shark in Sheep’s Clothing; you do not need to buy premium to obtain President Ozzy. Official patch notes; official Discord announcement.
Which event should you play, and when does it end?
Play Jeff’s Dream Eater. Its announced window is September 17, 2026, at 09:00 UTC to October 15, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. That deadline is in UTC, so convert it to your local time if needed. The event is distinct from Jeff’s Superstar Search, which has a separate announced end date of October 9, 2026, at 09:00 UTC and rewards a Spray, Title, and Nameplate. The patch notes do not identify Superstar Search as a requirement for the Venom costume. Marvel Rivals Version 20260917 Patch Notes.
