As of October 4, 2026, no complete, verified list of every skin and its unlock condition is available in the official material cited here. The confirmed example is the Deluxe Edition F-4E “MOBIUS SQUADRON” and F/A-18 C “TEAM ZVEZDA” skins: Bandai Namco Europe says they become available in Campaign Mode after you complete the campaign. This is a launch-period guide to documented rewards—not a claim that these are the game’s only skins.
Confirmed campaign skin unlocks
The full game is ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE, released worldwide on October 2, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, according to Bandai Namco’s launch announcement.

Bandai Namco Europe lists two aircraft skins with the Deluxe Edition and says they are available in Campaign Mode after the campaign is completed:

Keep Campaign Mode and ACE COMBAT ONLINE separate
Campaign unlocks and online progression are not one shared track. The official FAQ says ACE COMBAT ONLINE has progression and save data separate from Campaign Mode. Online ranks and seasonal rewards therefore should not be treated as campaign unlocks—or assumed usable in Campaign Mode—unless the reward description explicitly says so. Read the official FAQ for the mode and save-data distinction.
Deluxe cosmetics that are not aircraft skins
The Deluxe content list also names the Tasha Costume Set for the multiplayer lobby and Scarlet missile smoke customization for online aircraft. These are cosmetics, but they are not aircraft skins. Bandai Namco’s edition details and reward information distinguish these items from the two campaign aircraft skins.

Season One rewards: distinguish aircraft, skins, and avatar items
The announced Premium Ace Pass Season One rewards include the playable ADFX-02 MORGAN –PIXY– aircraft, avatar items, and aircraft skins. The aircraft and avatar items are not skins. The announcement establishes that the pass includes aircraft skins, but does not provide a complete skin-by-skin inventory and unlock-condition list. Check the official Season One reward details for the included reward categories and current availability.

What is not confirmed as a complete unlock list
Official sources and the Steam page for the Customizable Cosmetic Set describe selected cosmetics, but do not establish a complete inventory of every skin or map each one to an exact unlock condition. In particular, the available documentation does not verify every campaign unlock, online-rank reward, seasonal reward, or store item. Don’t rely on an isolated player claim as a confirmed requirement.

For now, use the item’s in-game description and the official listing for its edition or season to check its mode, reward type, and acquisition route. A complete guide to every skin requires an authoritative or reproducibly verified inventory with conditions for each item.
