In Volleyball Legends, use style spins to pursue styles; codes can provide spins when active. “Upgrade” may mean completing a style’s Mastery quests, but the documented Mastery path in the current update is specific to Jinko—not a universal way to level every style. Check that a style is currently available before spending spins: limited windows can close.
How to get styles with spins
Style spins are the general route for pursuing styles, but a spin does not guarantee a particular result. Current general odds, spin costs, and pity rules are not established by the available fan-maintained references, so older rate figures should not be treated as current.
For free spins, check active codes and any style-specific quests. A fan-maintained code guide, last checked October 3, 2026, lists UPDATE_90 and SKELETON_BUNDLE as awarding five Lucky Style Spins each. Codes can expire, and that listing is not confirmation that either code will redeem now. See the Volleyball Legends codes guide and verify the result in game.
Redeem a code
- Reach Level 15, the requirement reported by the code guide.
- Open Shop, then select Codes.
- Enter the code and select Use Code.
- Check whether the reward appears in your account. If it does not, the code may have expired or already been redeemed.
Check whether the style is available now
Limited styles are not necessarily obtainable whenever you want them. The fan-maintained Update 90 summary reports that Jinko returned from October 3 through October 17, 2026; it does not specify a closing time. Because that window has passed, check the current in-game banner or an announcement before using spins for Jinko or another limited style. A previous return does not establish when a style will come back.
Update 90 is described by its fan-maintained summary as dated October 3, 2026. Its update details should be treated as community reporting rather than a verified developer announcement; confirm time-sensitive availability in game or through an official announcement. See the Update 90 summary and style directory.

What “upgrade a style” means: Jinko Mastery
Mastery is a style-specific quest-and-reward track, not evidence of a universal stat-leveling system. Update 90’s fan-maintained summary documents this path for Jinko: use Jinko and complete its quests to unlock five reward levels.
| Jinko Mastery level | Reported reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | Jinko Juggle Emote |
| 2 | 3 Lucky Style Spins |
| 3 | 6 Lucky Style Spins |
| 4 | Jinko Cooked Player Card |
| 5 | JINKO Title |
The source describes completing quests while using Jinko, but does not establish a detailed universal quest interface or Mastery track for other styles. Check the selected style’s in-game page for its own requirements rather than assuming Jinko’s rewards or steps apply to all styles.

Choose a style for your role, not a claimed “best” ranking
Style descriptions and role labels can help you narrow the choice by how you play. For example, the community style directory describes Jinko as a curve-focused spiker. That describes a mechanic, not proof that Jinko is the best choice for every team or player. Community-maintained tier rankings and stat sheets are not a reliable substitute for current in-game details.
- Read the style’s role and ability description in the current game interface.
- Consider whether its mechanics suit your position and preferred way to play.
- Check its current availability before committing spins, especially for limited returns.
Why old spin-rate advice may mislead
The Update 90 summary reports a temporary event from October 3–5, 2026, during which Secret pity was reduced from 200 to 100 and the Secret chance increased from 0.5% to 1%. Those figures applied to that event, which has ended; they are not current general odds. The available current references do not establish the ordinary spin rates or pity rules, so there is no sound basis here for promising a particular style after a set number of spins.
