Spoilers: This guide reveals the choice in Dragon’s Dogma 2’s final quest and what happens after the secret ending route. To reach the Unmoored World, use the Empowered Godsbane Blade at the Dragon’s heart during Legacy. Simply riding through the encounter leads to the standard ending instead.
Choose the secret route during “Legacy”
In the final main quest, Legacy, the Dragon carries the Arisen toward the final encounter. While riding the Dragon, make your way to its heart and use the Empowered Godsbane Blade there. This triggers the secret ending route and access to the Unmoored World. PowerPyx and GameSpot describe the action with slightly different wording, so focus on reaching the heart and using the blade rather than expecting a particular button prompt; controls may vary by platform. What the Unmoored World is like
The Unmoored World is a post-game variant of the familiar map, not a separate game or DLC area. The ocean’s water recedes, exposing seafloor you can traverse; red fog and red beacons signal the altered world and its trials or encounters. How to approach the post-game objectives
Prioritize trials and rescues
The red fog advances, and guides describe the post-game as time-limited. The exact timing rules are not established well enough to treat a particular day count or number of rests as universal. As a cautious approach, prioritize objectives and rescues, and avoid unnecessary rests rather than relying on a fixed timer formula.

Leave the Seafloor Shrine beacon until you are ready to finish
Interacting with the red beacon at the Seafloor Shrine ends the game sequence for that run. If you still want to complete available trials or rescues, postpone using it until you are ready to conclude the post-game.
