To unlock and complete seasonal missions in Marvel Rivals, open the game’s current Missions or Events screen, select the seasonal task or event, and follow its displayed prerequisites and objective. Complete the objective in an eligible mode, then return to the relevant screen and claim the reward if a claim button appears. The game’s current event screen is the authority for unlocks, modes, resets, and deadlines; those rules have varied between events and seasons.
Where to find seasonal missions
Open the current Missions or Events area in the game and choose the seasonal event or mission category you want to work on. Read the task text and any visible lock or progress indicators before starting a match. Check the stated eligible mode, prerequisites, and event end time there rather than relying on an older guide.

Official Season 9 patch notes describe an event in which players complete missions to earn Units, Gallery Cards, and other rewards: Season 9 patch notes. That announcement does not provide a complete live task list or universal unlock sequence, so the client remains the practical source for the current details.

How to unlock and complete a mission
- Choose the event or category. In Missions or Events, open the seasonal content you intend to complete.
- Check the exact requirement. Read the objective, any prerequisite for a locked task or page, the eligible mode, and the deadline shown in game.
- Play the eligible mode. Complete the stated objective, not merely a similar action in a different mode. Check the mission’s progress indicator after the match.
- Claim the reward if prompted. Return to the relevant mission or event interface when progress is complete and use its claim control if one is displayed. Claim behavior is not established as identical across all events.
- Continue with available tasks. If another stage is locked, inspect that stage’s own prerequisite text. Finish remaining tasks before the event’s displayed end time.
Why a mission or event stage may be locked
A lock can reflect an event-specific prerequisite or a time-based release. Historical events used both approaches: the third-party Cerebro Database event record describes a challenge that advanced by completing three missions in a row, column, or diagonal; its record says three completed lines finished the challenge and auto-completed remaining missions. A separate Milano Repair Logs record says players had to finish every mission in one log to unlock the next, with later sets refreshing daily at 09:00 UTC. These are examples from particular past events, not rules to apply to a current one. Check the locked stage’s own explanation and timing in game.

Seasonal rules and rewards change
There is no single mission structure that can safely be assumed for every season. For example, official Season 7 patch notes said completing missions in a new event would unlock the free Deadpool – Wade Wilson: The Spirit Guard uniform (Season 7 patch notes). Season 8 notes described Devil Dino Hide and Seek missions that earned Units, Chrono Tokens, Gallery Cards, and more (Season 8 patch notes). These are dated examples, not a promise about the current event’s rewards or mechanics.
Mission categories have also changed. Season 3 notes described removing daily missions, allowing unfinished weekly missions to roll over until mid-season, and keeping season missions available for the full season with repeatable rewards (Season 3 patch notes). The April 2025 Season 2 notes described a mission revamp that added weekly missions and rewards and adjusted daily and challenge missions while maintaining the overall Chrono Token distribution (Season 2 patch notes). Those dated configurations do not establish today’s rollover or reset schedule.

When missions reset or expire
Use the reset and deadline information shown for the specific mission or event in your current game client. The available official season notes do not establish one reset hour, expiry rule, or unlock timetable that applies to every live mission. Do not assume an old event’s refresh time carries over to a new one.
