To earn Battlefield 6 Season 4’s Top Gun crossover rewards, check the active event and its timer in the Play menu, then complete the objectives listed under Challenges. Top Gun’s themed modes are Carrier Strike in Battlefield 6 and Fighter Sweep in REDSEC, but follow each objective’s in-game mode requirements: the official sources do not publish a complete, current task checklist.
How do I complete the Top Gun challenges in Battlefield 6?
- Check the event timer. Open the Play menu and look for the active event section. EA says it displays a countdown, which is the best way to check the deadline currently shown for your game. EA’s Battle Pass and events guide
- Open the objectives. Go to Challenges and select the Top Gun event objectives and any relevant weekly challenges.
- Read each objective before queueing. Check its required action, progress count, accepted mode, bonus path point value, and any prerequisite shown in the interface. The live task text—not a general event description—determines what counts.
- Play the mode named for that task. Top Gun’s themed modes are Carrier Strike in Battlefield 6 and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep in REDSEC. Use the mode the specific objective accepts; do not assume every task can be completed in either game. PlayStation’s Battlefield seasonal updates
- Track your event points and tiers. Event and weekly objectives award bonus path points. Every 10 bonus path points unlocks one new event tier reward, according to EA Help.
- Check progress and the timer again. Use the Challenges menu to verify completion and the Play menu to check the remaining countdown. Earn event rewards before the event ends; EA says they cannot be earned afterward.
Where are the Battlefield 6 event challenges?
Find the current event’s objectives in the Challenges menu. To see whether an event is active and how much time remains, check the event section under Play. EA’s guide identifies these as the locations for objectives and the countdown. The interface is also where to confirm the current task wording, point awards, reward tiers, and any prerequisites.
Which modes are part of the Top Gun crossover?
Top Gun is Season 4 Phase 2. PlayStation identifies Carrier Strike as the Battlefield 6 mode and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep as the REDSEC mode. EA describes the crossover as including two themed modes, event challenges, and cosmetics. These mode names help identify the event, but each objective’s accepted mode is what matters when trying to make progress.
Can I still earn the Top Gun rewards?
EA’s September 14, 2026 update guide says, “Top Gun isn’t leaving the runway just yet,” and states that Carrier Strike and Fighter Sweep were extended through the end of Season 4. It does not provide a specific end date. Check the in-game countdown to determine whether the event is still active and how much time remains. The extension of the modes does not by itself establish that every Top Gun reward is still available; confirm the reward and its status in the live event interface. Do you need a paid Battle Pass to complete event objectives?
EA says the free Battle Pass is available to players who own Battlefield 6 or REDSEC. Premium Battle Pass tiers and Battlefield Pro include paid features, but the available EA guidance does not establish that either is required to complete all event objectives. Check the objective and reward details in game rather than assuming a paid tier is necessary. EA Help: Battlefield 6 Battle Pass and events
Is Deep Six the same event as Top Gun?
No. Deep Six was a separate Tidal Strike Collection Event, not another name for Top Gun. EA said Deep Six ran September 15–29, 2026, using contracts and intel devices across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC to earn rewards culminating in the Royal Navy Dive Knife. Those dates are past; do not treat Deep Six as currently open. The two events’ different objectives and reward paths mean a Deep Six contract should not be mistaken for a Top Gun challenge. What the official pages do—and do not—list
The official pages identify the Top Gun modes and explain how event objectives contribute to reward tiers, but they do not provide the exact live Top Gun objective checklist, task counts, point assignments, or every reward threshold. For those details, rely on the current Challenges and event screens in your game instead of an unsourced checklist.
