If RedTube will not load, first identify what is blocking it: an age or location restriction, a school or workplace filter, an anti-adblocking notice, or a browser problem. The right next step depends on the message you see. A VPN or DNS change may help with some network-level filters, but neither guarantees access or overrides local law, age requirements, or network rules.
Why is RedTube not working where you are?
A block page is not necessarily a technical outage. It can reflect a law or site policy tied to your location, an age-assurance process, a filter on a managed network, or a browser or content-blocker issue. Check the wording on the page and the network you are using before changing settings.
Age or location restriction
If the message refers to your age, location, or regional availability, follow the applicable age-assurance process and local rules. AdBlock says these restrictions are unrelated to its blocker and identifies RedTube support through support.adult.com as the contact route for age or location issues. A VPN cannot resolve an age requirement or make a restriction lawful to bypass.
Anti-adblocking warning
If the page specifically says to disable an ad blocker, determine which blocker is installed. AdBlock’s help center says its EasyList filter can cause issues on adult sites. Its documented test is to temporarily disable that filter, reload the page, and see whether the notice changes. Do not turn off broader privacy protections by default; if the filter is responsible, consult the blocker’s support guidance or report the issue to the filter-list maintainers. AdBlock’s troubleshooting guidance distinguishes this problem from age and location restrictions.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.

School, workplace, hotel, or Wi-Fi filter
A managed network may block adult sites under its own rules. If you are authorized to access the content and use the network, ask its administrator about the restriction or switch to another network you are permitted to use. A VPN may keep a simple network filter from identifying the destination, but it may violate network rules and is not guaranteed to work.
Browser issue or temporary outage
If there is no clear restriction notice, try a private window or another browser, clear stale cookies and cached site data, and check whether the site is broadly unavailable. These checks can help separate a browser-state problem or temporary failure from a regional restriction.

What the 2026 reports say about regional access
Availability differs by location and can change as laws and platform policies change. The dated examples below are not a universal access map.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- United Kingdom: Aylo announced on January 27, 2026 that new UK users would lose access to its content-sharing platforms, including RedTube, starting February 2. It said UK users who had already verified their age would retain access through their existing accounts. This is Aylo’s announced policy, not evidence that every UK user is blocked or that the policy is permanent. Aylo’s UK statement also includes the company’s own views about the Online Safety Act; those views should be understood as the company’s position.
- Australia: The Guardian reported on March 6, 2026 that RedTube, YouPorn, and Tube8 showed notices to visitors using Australian IP addresses saying they were not accepting new account registrations in that region. The report connected the notices with age-assurance codes due to take effect March 9; it did not establish permanent total unavailability. Read the Guardian report.
- United States: A Cybernews guide dated September 25, 2026 reported RedTube disabled in 25 states, age verification in Louisiana, and continued access in Ohio. This is a secondary-source snapshot, not a lasting state-by-state guarantee; check current local requirements and the site’s current response. Read the Cybernews guide.
- France: In a July 15, 2025 account of a Conseil d’État decision, the French Ministry of Economy said an age-verification order covering 17 pornographic sites applied immediately. It said sites refusing compliance could face formal notices, financial sanctions, blocking, or delisting. The ministry also cited an ARCOM figure that more than two million minors in France visit pornographic sites each month; that figure is attributed to ARCOM through the ministry’s release, not independently verified here. Read the ministry’s account.
- Brazil: A 2026 notice from Brazil’s data protection authority described monitoring adult-content sites under the country’s child and adolescent digital-protection framework. RedTube was not on the published list of monitored sites on the page reviewed, so the notice should not be read as a RedTube-specific listing. Read the authority’s notice.
Which troubleshooting step fits the cause?
| Possible cause | What to try | What it can and cannot do |
|---|---|---|
| Age or location restriction | Follow the site’s age-assurance process and contact RedTube support. | Addresses an account or site-policy issue; a VPN or ad-blocker change does not remove age requirements. |
| Anti-adblocking notice | Temporarily test the relevant blocker filter, such as EasyList, then reload. | Can identify whether that filter triggers the notice; it will not fix an age or location block. |
| Managed-network filter | Ask the administrator or use another network you are authorized to use. | A VPN may evade some simple destination-based filtering, but it may breach network rules and cannot guarantee access. |
| Basic DNS filter | A DNS change may help if the block is specifically at the DNS level. | Does not change the IP location a site sees and will not solve an IP-location restriction. |
| Browser state or temporary failure | Clear site data, try a private window or another browser, and check for a broader outage. | Helps test local browser problems; it does not change legal or regional availability. |
| Proxy or Tor route | Consider the trade-offs before using either. | The reviewed guide cautions that proxies may offer less privacy and security than a reputable VPN, while Tor may be too slow for smooth video. |
What a VPN or DNS change can—and cannot—change
VPN
A VPN changes the IP address and apparent location a site sees and encrypts traffic between your device and the VPN endpoint. That may help with a location-dependent network filter or a simple network-level block. It does not guarantee RedTube access in a particular country or state, satisfy age-assurance requirements, override applicable law, or make use of a managed network permissible. Check local rules and network terms before connecting. The cited reports do not establish that a VPN can lawfully or reliably bypass a particular RedTube restriction.

DNS change
Changing DNS may help only when the restriction is a basic DNS filter. It does not change your IP-based apparent location, so it is not a fix for a regional restriction or age check.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Use the right contact for a policy block
For an age or location message, use the RedTube support route identified by AdBlock: support.adult.com. For filtering on a school, workplace, hotel, or other managed network, contact that network’s administrator. A blocker’s support channel is relevant when the page shows an anti-adblocking notice, not when the site is enforcing a regional or age policy.
