To show or hide the scrolling lineup in EA Sports FC 27, pause the match and open Settings > Game Settings > Visual > Overlays > Scrolling Line Ups. Choose On to display it when skipping the match intro, or Off to suppress it. Back out of settings to apply the change.
Change the Scrolling Line Ups setting
- Pause the match.
- Select Settings, then Game Settings.
- Open the Visual tab. The current FC 27 guide reports using L1/R1 on PlayStation or LB/RB on Xbox to switch tabs.
- Scroll to Overlays, then select Scrolling Line Ups.
- Choose On or Off.
- Back out of settings and resume the match. The guide reports that the change takes effect after leaving settings.
What the option does
The setting determines whether the scrolling lineup appears when you skip the match intro. EA describes the purpose this way in its official FIFA 22 settings documentation: “Turn On/Off to select whether you want the scrolling line-up to appear when skipping the match intro.” The FC 27 guide describes the display as a lineup banner along the bottom of the screen: On shows it, while Off hides it.
Which setting should you choose?
- On: Keep the lineup display when skipping the intro.
- Off: Skip the lineup display if you prefer to get into the match without it.
The FC 27 guide reports that On is the default. EA’s FIFA 22 documentation also lists On as the default for that older edition; it does not independently confirm FC 27’s default.

The menu path, controller buttons, change timing, and reported default above come from a secondary FC 27 guide updated September 26, 2026. EA’s official FIFA 22 documentation confirms what the option does, but does not verify FC 27’s current interface. FIFA 21 documentation also describes the setting in an earlier edition, while a separate FC 27 settings reference corroborates its purpose. Menu details can differ between editions, so use the FC 27 path shown in the current guide rather than assuming an older FIFA menu is identical.
