You can turn a product photo into a short marketing video in Pollo AI by choosing its Runway model, uploading your image, optionally describing the motion, adjusting the available settings, and generating a clip. Then inspect the result carefully before using it in an ad: motion can alter labels, logos, or product details, so a generated video should not be treated as a verified depiction.
What you need before you start
Start with a sharp, well-lit product photo. Runway recommends those qualities for product-ad inputs in its product-video guidance. A clear view of the item and a plain or controlled background can also make it easier to judge the generated motion; those are practical suggestions, not guaranteed requirements.
Decide where you plan to publish the clip before generating it. Runway describes vertical, square, and widescreen product-ad formats, but the export controls exposed through Pollo may differ. A version framed for one destination may not suit another.
How to make the video in Pollo AI
- Open the image-to-video workflow. Go to Pollo AI’s Runway image-to-video page and choose the Runway model in the generator. The exact model version and controls may depend on what the current interface makes available to your account.
- Upload the product image. Use the cleanest source image you have, with the product clearly visible.
- Add a focused prompt if you want to guide the motion. Pollo documents prompt guidance as optional. Describe one manageable action, such as a slow rotation, gentle camera push-in, or close-up pass over a feature. Runway lists rotations and label close-ups among its product-ad ideas.
- Adjust the available settings. Set the aspect ratio or other options that appear in the current Pollo interface. Do not assume every setting described for Runway’s own service is available in Pollo.
- Generate the clip and review it. Pollo notes that repeated generations may be needed to get a desired result. Check the entire clip, not just its opening frame.
- Save the result using the export options Pollo provides. If you need a particular file format or ratio, confirm it is available in the current interface rather than assuming Runway’s direct-service options carry over.
Write a prompt that protects product accuracy
Keep the prompt to one shot and one main movement. State the intended framing, action, setting, and lighting. If product fidelity matters, explicitly ask the model to preserve packaging, label text, logo, colors, proportions, and material appearance. That instruction is guidance, not a guarantee that generated frames will preserve those details.

You can adapt this starting point:
Animate this exact product as a polished [vertical/square/widescreen] product ad. Preserve its packaging, label, logo, colors, proportions, and material appearance. [Describe one movement, such as a slow turntable rotation or a gentle camera push-in.] Use [background or setting], clean commercial lighting, and no new text or extra objects.
Replace the bracketed choices with your intended format and scene. Avoid asking for several actions, camera moves, or settings in a single short shot; a simpler brief is easier to evaluate.

Inspect the video before publishing
Review the clip frame by frame when product details are important. Look for warped or changing label text, altered logos or colors, shifting product geometry, unexpected objects, and text or claims that were not in your original materials. Pollo’s guide warns that vertical uploads can produce unpredictable side content, so inspect the frame edges as well.

Do not publish a frame that misrepresents product features, packaging, or claims. Runway and Pollo describe product-ad uses such as e-commerce pages, launches, and social ads, but those are provider-described use cases—not evidence of label accuracy, ad performance, or increased sales.

Choose a format and route that fit your workflow
Runway’s product-video guidance describes vertical, square, and widescreen outputs, as well as MP4 and GIF downloads. Those details refer to Runway’s product guidance; confirm the actual format and download options available in Pollo before planning a campaign. When destinations use different aspect ratios, make separate versions if the interface supports them rather than assuming a single crop will work everywhere.
You can also use Runway directly instead of selecting its model through Pollo. The available official information does not establish a controlled comparison of cost, output quality, generation limits, or rights between the two routes. Compare the current options in your own account, including model/version selection, reference-image or keyframe controls, prompt and camera settings, aspect ratios, credits, export terms, and commercial-use terms. Pollo’s Runway page describes Gen-3 Alpha workflows with two image keyframes and Turbo with three; these controls are version-dependent, so check whether they appear in the current interface.

Runway’s AI video generator page describes its Free plan as including 125 one-time credits and Standard and higher plans as unlocking every image and video model. These are Runway-service plan details, not Pollo pricing or allowances; do not use them to estimate the cost of generating through Pollo.

Runway’s help center says users retain ownership and rights to content uploaded to and generated on Runway, and that Runway does not impose a non-commercial restriction on those creations. Its guidance explicitly includes product advertising among the uses it discusses: Runway’s usage-rights terms.

Pollo separately says content created on its paid plans can be used commercially on its Marketing Studio page. These statements concern different services. Runway’s direct-service terms do not, by themselves, establish the terms for a Runway-model generation made inside Pollo. Check the current rules for the exact service, plan, and model you use, and make sure you have rights to the uploaded photo and any music, fonts, logos, or other assets included in the finished ad.
After the product depiction passes review, you can add final copy, a call to action, music, or other edits. Check those additions for accuracy and rights as well.
