To turn off most DJI drones, press the aircraft’s Power button once, then press and hold it until the aircraft powers down. The hold time depends on the model: DJI’s general guide says about one second, while the Mavic 4 Pro guide specifies two seconds. Check your aircraft’s manual for its exact procedure.
Turn off the drone with its Power button

Keep the aircraft stationary and find its Power button.

Can you turn off a DJI drone with its controller?
DJI documents the remote controller’s Power button as a way to power off the Mini 4 Pro. Its guide also describes using the aircraft’s Power button. For other models, do not assume the controller’s button will switch off the aircraft; check the model-specific manual. See DJI’s Mini 4 Pro guide.

The timing and supported controls differ, so use the manual for your exact model rather than applying one DJI drone’s instructions to another. DJI’s Mavic 4 Pro guide says pressing the Power button once during its fold-triggered countdown cancels the countdown. That feature is specific to the documented model and setting.

If the drone will not turn off
DJI identifies a failed firmware update or a damaged Power button as possible causes when an aircraft or battery cannot be powered off. Its recommended troubleshooting steps are:
