You can transfer Osmo Action 6 footage with DJI Mimo, a USB-C connection to a computer, a microSD card reader, or a wired OTG connection to a phone or tablet. Choose based on where the footage is stored: Mimo and a USB connection can access both the camera’s built-in storage and an inserted card, while a card reader can access only the card.

The camera can store footage on an inserted microSD card or in its built-in storage. DJI states that the Action 6 has 50 GB of built-in storage, and supports microSD cards up to 1 TB. DJI Osmo Action 6 specifications
Transfer footage to a phone with DJI Mimo
Mimo is the straightforward wireless app option when you want to browse the camera’s album and download selected files to your phone. DJI says this method can access content on either the microSD card or built-in storage. DJI Osmo Action 6 FAQ

- Install and open DJI Mimo on your phone.
- Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in the phone’s settings.
- In Mimo, tap the Camera icon and connect to the Osmo Action 6.
- Open the camera album or playback area, select the footage, and choose the download option.
For 8K footage, DJI currently says downloading and editing in Mimo is supported only on iPhone 15 Pro series and later. Support for other devices may be added through future app updates. DJI Osmo Action 6 FAQ

Transfer footage to a computer over USB-C
A direct camera connection is the computer option that can access files in either built-in storage or the microSD card. Use a USB-C cable that supports data transfer; a charging-only cable will not serve this purpose.
- Turn on the Osmo Action 6.
- Connect it to the computer with a data-capable USB-C cable.
- If the camera displays transfer choices, tap “File Transfer: USB.”
- On Windows, open the camera drive. On macOS, allow the accessory connection if prompted, then open the camera in Finder.
- Browse to DCIM > DJI 001, select the files, and copy them to a folder on the computer.
DJI notes that screens and interfaces can vary by product and firmware. If the camera does not appear, check that it is powered on, the cable supports data, and the USB mode is set to file transfer. DJI Osmo Action 6 FAQ

Transfer files with a microSD card reader
Use a reader when the footage you need is on the removable microSD card and you want to copy it directly to a computer or smartphone.
- Turn off the camera and remove the microSD card.
- Insert the card into a compatible reader.
- Connect the reader to the computer or phone and open the card’s files.
- Copy the footage to the destination device.
This method does not show files stored in the Action 6’s built-in storage. For those files, use Mimo or connect the camera itself by USB-C. DJI’s specifications list Lexar Professional SILVER PLUS and Kingston CANVAS Go! Plus U3 A2 V30 microSDXC cards among its recommended models. Use OTG with a phone or tablet
DJI lists OTG export as supported for Osmo Action 6. OTG is another wired route for a phone or tablet, but the exact connection procedure depends on the device and accessory. Follow DJI’s OTG instructions linked from its export guidance for the applicable setup rather than assuming every phone uses the same connection steps.

DJI’s Mimo FAQ describes a cloud option: select files in the in-app Album, tap the cloud icon, link an account, and connect to Wi-Fi. It lists OneDrive, Google Drive, and NAS as supported destinations; available services may change. DJI Osmo Action 6 FAQ
