To trade with a customer in TCG Card Shop Simulator, look for someone beside the Checkout Counter with a red exclamation mark above them, then interact with that customer. The documented steps come from the game’s November 2024 build 0.50 notes; follow the current on-screen prompt if the controls or wording have changed.
How do I trade with customers in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
- Watch the Checkout Counter. Look for a customer standing beside it with a red exclamation mark overhead.
- Approach and interact. This starts the customer’s request to sell or trade a card. The precise interaction control is not specified in the dated notes, so use the prompt shown in your current game.
- Review the offer on screen. Decide based on the values and cards displayed in that offer; the official materials do not establish a universal best choice or profit rule.
The location and red-mark signal are described in the build 0.50 update notes dated 21 November 2024. OPNeon Games’ 1.0 announcement lists customer card trades among the completed features, confirming that trading remains part of the game’s 1.0 feature set, released on 14 September 2026.
How do I know when a customer wants to sell or trade a card?
The documented indicator is a red exclamation mark above a customer standing beside the Checkout Counter. Interact with that customer to begin the request. The notes do not specify a separate notification, a guaranteed appearance schedule, or how long a request remains available.

Does shop level affect customer trades?
Yes, according to the build 0.50 notes: a higher shop level increases the chance that a customer will ask to sell or trade a card. The notes give no percentage, minimum level, or timing guarantee, and they do not establish whether those odds changed in later updates. Treat this as a qualitative relationship rather than a promise of how often trades will appear.

Should I sell the card or trade for another one?
Use the current offer screen to compare what you receive with what you give up. Your priorities may differ: taking cash can suit a need for funds, while accepting a card may matter more if you want to build your collection or keep a particular card. These are decision considerations, not evidence that either option is always more valuable.
The official materials reviewed do not explain how asking prices or card-for-card values are calculated. They also do not say whether rarity, condition, market value, or your inventory affects an offer. No universal valuation formula or guaranteed profitable strategy is established, so rely on the values the game actually displays rather than assuming a hidden rule.

Is customer trading the same as playing Tetramon TCG?
No. A customer sale or card-for-card trade begins at the Checkout Counter. Playing Tetramon TCG is a separate activity: the 1.0 announcement describes a match with a lone customer waiting at the play table, while the shop continues operating. The developer describes that match as taking about three to five minutes. More information about the 1.0 feature set appears in the developer’s announcement; the game’s Steam listing describes its broader shop-management features.
