The exact chapter-level layout of the War Journal is not confirmed by the official source available here, so treat journal checks as a useful lead—not a guaranteed per-chapter checklist.
What counts toward the collectible achievement?
Xbox Wire describes Memories From E-Day as “Find all Collectibles in the Campaign (any difficulty).” That makes the achievement campaign-wide, not an Act 2-only achievement. The same preview lists separate achievements for finding all Hard Cases and completing all Secondary Objectives, so track those categories separately rather than treating every optional item as a collectible. Xbox Wire’s achievement preview was published September 9, 2026, before the October 6 launch date it announced.

How to narrow down the missing Act 2 item
- Check your in-game progress record. Open the War Journal and look for a chapter or section that appears incomplete. Third-party guides recommend checking it regularly, but the official achievement preview does not document the journal’s chapter-level display.
- Match the incomplete part to the guide headings. The Gamer Social Club guide breaks Act 2 into Bravo Squad, Hold the Line, No Gear Left Behind, Fly Boys, and Overrun. Hold the Line is further divided into three parts. Use the matching section rather than restarting a whole act.
- Search the relevant area before triggering a story transition. In map-based areas, sweep side streets and interiors. The Gamer Social Club guide says some collectibles appear on the map but may not be reachable until later in the chapter, so revisit a marker if the route is initially blocked.
- Recheck your progress after the sweep. If the count still appears short, use the same guide section to check alternate rooms or later-accessible paths. GamersBeacon reports that a missed standard collectible can be recovered through chapter replay; treat that as third-party guidance, not an officially documented replay guarantee.
A Reddit player asked whether collectibles can be viewed per chapter and reported seeing progress by act. That is one player’s report, not definitive confirmation of the interface across versions or states. If your Journal only presents act-level progress, use the guide’s chapter and section headings to narrow your search manually.

For Hold the Line, the guide says its Secondary Objective list was missing one objective when published. That caveat concerns optional objectives, not proof of a missing collectible; do not use that list as a complete checklist for every category.
Recognizing collectibles without mixing up item types
The Gamer Social Club guide describes collectibles as lore items and reports that a nearby collectible may trigger the COG Omen musical sting. It also says collectibles appear on the map in levels that have one. These are guide-reported cues, not official interface documentation.

How reliable are the route details?
Xbox Wire’s September 9, 2026 achievement preview is the official source here for the campaign-wide achievement wording and its stated October 6 launch date. The Act 2 route guide was published October 1 and GamersBeacon’s broader completion guide October 2, both before that scheduled launch. Their counts and journal/replay advice are useful search aids, but the available sources do not establish that those guides were tested against a retail build or confirm precisely how the released game displays chapter-level progress. Check the game and current guide version if an update changes routes or menus.
