You can track time against Pipedrive activities using Clockify’s browser extension. Clockify’s documented workflow starts the timer from a Pipedrive activity, uses the activity name for the time entry, and puts reporting in Clockify. Clockify says Pipedrive does not have built-in time tracking; that specific claim is Clockify’s, and it is not independently confirmed by the Pipedrive sources cited here.
Track time from a Pipedrive activity
Clockify documents a browser-extension workflow for tracking time on Pipedrive activities. Its instructions cover Chrome and Firefox; check Clockify’s Pipedrive time-tracking setup instructions for the current extension options.
- Create Clockify and Pipedrive accounts if you do not already have them.
- Install the Clockify browser extension for Chrome or Firefox.
- Enable the relevant Pipedrive options in the extension settings, following Clockify’s current setup instructions.
- Open a Pipedrive activity and start the Clockify timer there. Clockify says the entry picks up the activity name.
- Review the recorded time in Clockify reports.
The timer is started from the Pipedrive activity view, while Clockify is where Clockify directs users to review tracked data. The source describes association with the activity name; it does not establish additional behavior such as automatic deal-level allocation.
Where to view time and reports
Clockify describes its Summary reports as a way to visualize tracked work and review hours by client, along with earnings, costs, and profit. These are capabilities described by Clockify, not independently tested results. Consult Clockify’s report guidance and account options to confirm which details are available for your setup.

Clockify extension versus a Pipedrive Marketplace app
The Clockify instructions describe a browser extension. That is a different installation route from adding an app through Pipedrive’s Marketplace, and the cited sources do not establish that Clockify is listed there.
Install a Marketplace app
- In Pipedrive, go to Tools and apps > Marketplace apps > Explore marketplace.
- Open the app’s information page and choose Install now.

Check for separate service costs
Pipedrive says it does not charge for Marketplace apps, but a connected service may require its own subscription. Check the service’s website for its pricing before adopting it; Pipedrive’s guidance is in its Marketplace popular categories article.

- Where the timer starts: Clockify documents starting it from a Pipedrive activity using its browser extension.
- What the time entry identifies: Clockify says it uses the activity name. Confirm whether that is enough for your reporting needs.
- Where reporting happens: Clockify directs users to Clockify reports, rather than describing reporting inside Pipedrive.
- Whether you need profitability details: Clockify describes Summary reports with client hours, earnings, costs, and profit. Check current account options for your requirements.
- What it costs: Confirm any Clockify subscription requirements directly with Clockify, and check for separate fees for any Marketplace service you consider.
