Open the Amazon product page in a browser, make the title, price, selected variant, or other important detail visible, and use your device’s normal screenshot shortcut. On Windows press Windows+Shift+S; on a Mac press Shift-Command-4; on an iPhone press Side+Volume Up (or Home+Side on Home-button models); and on Android press Power+Volume Down. For a page longer than one screen, choose the device’s scrolling or full-page option when it appears, or capture successive views with a small overlap.
Before you capture the Amazon page
Open the product listing in a browser rather than assuming the Amazon Shopping app behaves the same way on every device. Wait until the product images, title, price, selected size or color, seller, and other details you need are visible. Amazon pages can change as you select a variant or seller, so select those choices first.

- Keep the product name and the detail you are documenting legible.
- Scroll away from unrelated browser tabs, notifications, or personal information before capturing.
- For a price or availability record, remember that a screenshot shows only the state of the page at that moment; the listing can change later.
Windows 10 and Windows 11
Capture a selected part of the product page
- Open the listing and arrange the page so the relevant information is on screen.
- Press Windows+Shift+S. The Snipping Tool overlay appears.
- Choose Rectangular snip, then drag around the product content. You can also choose freeform, window, or full-screen capture from the overlay.
- Select the notification or open Snipping Tool to crop or annotate the image, then save or share it.
A rectangular snip is usually the clearest choice for a product title, price, image, and selected option because it excludes unrelated desktop content. Microsoft also lists Print Screen for a full-screen snapshot; use that when you need the entire display rather than only the browser page.

Capture a long page on Windows
The ordinary Snipping Tool shortcut captures what is selected on screen. If your Windows setup offers a scrolling or full-page command in the capture experience, use it and review the result. If no expanded option is available, scroll through the listing and make several overlapping rectangular snips. Keep the same zoom level and include a little of the previous view in each image so their order is obvious.

Mac
Capture a region
- Open the Amazon product page.
- Press Shift-Command-4.
- Drag over the product information you want to preserve and release the pointer.
- Click the thumbnail to edit immediately, or wait for the file to save to the desktop.
Capture the full screen or browser window
- Shift-Command-3 captures the entire screen.
- Press Shift-Command-4, then press Space, and click the browser window to capture that window.
Use a region when the evidence is a price or a particular product image. A window capture is useful when you need the browser frame to establish which page was open, while a full-screen capture includes everything visible on the display.
Capture content below the visible area
macOS’s basic shortcuts do not automatically create one tall image of every webpage. If your browser or the page context presents a full-page capture control, choose it and inspect the output. Otherwise, save a sequence of overlapping region captures while scrolling.
iPhone
Take the initial screenshot
- Open the listing in your browser and display the section you need.
- On a Face ID iPhone, quickly press and release Side+Volume Up together.
- On an iPhone with a Home button, quickly press and release Home+Side. Button locations vary by model.
- Tap the preview to crop, draw on, or share the screenshot. If you do nothing, it is saved automatically.
Use Full Page when it is offered
In supported webpage contexts, tap the screenshot preview and select Full Page to include content beyond the visible screen. Apple describes this workflow with Safari as an example, but the control depends on the app and the page context. Do not assume it will appear for every Amazon view.
Saved captures are in Photos under Collections and Media Types > Screenshots. Review a long capture before sharing: an expanded page can include sections you did not intend to publish.

Android phones and tablets
Take a normal screenshot
- Open the product listing and position the page at the relevant information.
- Press Power+Volume Down at the same time.
- Use the preview controls to edit or share the image. If the buttons do not work on your model, press and hold Power and choose Screenshot if that menu item is offered.
Make a scrolling screenshot
On Android 12 and later, a Capture more or similar scrolling control can appear after the screenshot. Tap it and extend the selection down the page, then save. Google says scrolling capture works on most screens that allow scrolling, not every screen. Manufacturer software, screen type, and app behavior can change the label or availability, so follow your phone maker’s instructions when the control is missing.
How to capture the whole product page reliably
“Whole page” can mean a single tall image or a set of images that documents every section. The operating system determines whether a one-image capture is available.
- Start at the top and confirm the product identity, selected variant, and any price or seller information.
- Use the iPhone Full Page control or Android scrolling control when the page offers it.
- On Windows or Mac, use any full-page command presented by the capture tool; otherwise make sequential captures.
- For sequential captures, keep the browser zoom and window size fixed. Overlap each image by a recognizable line of text or part of the product image.
- Open every saved image before sending it. Check that text is readable, images are not cut off, and the sequence has no gaps.
Long Amazon pages may load additional images or recommendations as you scroll. Let each section finish loading before capturing it. A manually assembled sequence is preferable to a single image that silently omits lower sections.
Make the screenshot useful as evidence
Include the facts that identify the listing
- Product title or a clearly recognizable product image.
- Selected size, color, capacity, or other variation.
- Displayed price, currency, seller, delivery message, or stock statement when those are relevant.
- The capture date in your notes if you need to explain when the page was seen.
Protect private information
Crop account names, addresses, order details, open tabs, notification banners, and other personal information. Do not rely on blur tools that can be reversed; cropping out the information is safer when possible.
Choose a practical file format
Keep the original screenshot for your records. Use a lossless or high-quality image when small text matters, and make a copy at a smaller size for messaging. Do not repeatedly re-save the only copy through apps that recompress images.

Common problems and fixes
The shortcut does nothing
Press the keys simultaneously but briefly. On a laptop, a function-key setting may change how volume or power keys behave. Try the operating system’s on-screen screenshot command, such as the Power-menu option on supported Android devices, and check whether another app has remapped the shortcut.
The screenshot is black, blank, or missing images
Wait for the listing to finish loading, then capture again. Scroll to the missing section so lazy-loaded images have a chance to appear. A blank result can also come from a transient page failure; reload the listing and verify that ordinary page content is visible before capturing.

There is no full-page or scrolling option
Expanded capture is conditional. iPhone Full Page depends on the app and context, and Android scrolling capture is not supported on every scrollable screen. Use several overlapping screenshots instead of assuming the feature is hidden or that the Amazon app must support it.
The price in the image no longer matches the listing
That is expected for a time-sensitive page. The image records what was displayed when you captured it, not a guarantee of a current price, stock status, delivery date, or promotion. If the timing matters, retain the original file and note when it was taken.

The file cannot be found
On a Mac, screenshots normally appear on the desktop unless you changed the destination. On iPhone, look in Photos under Collections and Media Types > Screenshots. Windows and Android show a preview or notification; open it immediately to see the save location, or check the screenshots folder in your image library.

- Full-page capture loads lazy images below the fold.
- A CSS selector can capture one product element rather than the entire page.
- Choose a viewport or one of 12 device presets, set a retina scale, or enable dark mode.
- Wait for a selector, a delay, or network idle before capturing dynamic content.

Rights and sharing considerations
Amazon UK’s Conditions of Use & Sale state that content made available through its services—including text, graphics, logos, images, and page layout—is protected by copyright and related rights, and they address Amazon trademarks and trade dress. Those terms are specific to the UK marketplace. Saving a screenshot for personal reference is a different situation from republishing it, using it in advertising, or incorporating it into a commercial product. Check the terms for the marketplace you use and obtain appropriate rights advice before public or commercial reuse.

Can a screenshot prove what Amazon charged me?
No. A product-page screenshot records what was displayed at capture time; an order confirmation or receipt is the appropriate record of a completed transaction.
Should I capture the Amazon app or a browser?
Use a browser for the documented shortcuts and expanded-capture steps. Behavior in the Amazon Shopping app can vary by device and was not established here, so test the exact app view before relying on it.
What should I do if I need a searchable record rather than an image?
Keep the original image, add the capture date and product URL in your notes, and save any available order or page text separately. OCR can help search an image, but it should not replace checking the visual original.
