To stop prediction-market messages, first identify whether each one is a marketing email, account-activity email, push alert, or in-app notification. Those often have separate controls: on Kalshi, use a marketing email’s unsubscribe/preferences link for promotions and Notification settings for account activity. Polymarket US offers a broader option through self-exclusion, but that also restricts trading. The steps differ by service.
Identify which messages you want to stop
Unsubscribing from promotional mail does not necessarily stop trade confirmations, settlement notices, or security messages. Email, push, and in-app notifications may also have separate controls. Decide whether you want to turn off marketing, a particular activity alert, or a whole delivery channel before changing settings.
- Promotional email: newsletters, product updates, recommendations, and offers.
- Account-activity email: trade confirmations, settlements, transfers, price movements, and similar account events.
- Push or in-app alerts: messages delivered through the service’s app or website rather than email.
Turn off Kalshi emails or reduce their frequency
Stop account-activity email
- On the web, open Menu → Settings → Notifications. The settings are also available in the app, though some email toggles may be web-only.
- Expand the relevant notification category and switch off its Email option. Changes save automatically.
- Leave Push or In-app enabled if you still want those channels; they are controlled separately.
Kalshi distinguishes account-activity email from marketing email: changing one does not change the other.

Open a Kalshi marketing message and use the unsubscribe or preferences link at the bottom. In Subscription Preferences, choose the topics and channels you want to receive. Listed topics include product updates, market recommendations, live market updates, newsletters, ideas, promotions, and surveys. Choosing “Unsubscribe from all” stops marketing email and marketing push, but does not turn off account-activity email.

To receive marketing again, resubscribe through Subscription Preferences. Turning account-activity email back on does not necessarily restore a marketing subscription. Get fewer trade emails instead of none
Kalshi documents threshold controls based on trade quantity or dollar amount. On the web, you can also batch maker-side trade messages into summaries at 15-minute, 1-hour, 3-hour, or 12-hour intervals. These options reduce the number of separate emails rather than eliminate every message. Pausing push in the app affects push notifications only, not email.

Messages that may continue
Kalshi says password resets, email or account verification, sign-in codes, security alerts, and address-change notices may still arrive after you unsubscribe because they help secure the account.
If account-activity emails continue after you have changed the matching setting, confirm the message category first. Kalshi recommends contacting support with the email subject, the date and time received, and a screenshot of your notification settings.

Polymarket US: self-exclusion also restricts trading
Polymarket US documents stopping push notifications and marketing about market events through self-exclusion. This is a responsible-trading measure, not an ordinary email-preference switch.
- In the app, go to Account → Responsible Trading → Self-exclusion.
- Choose one month, three months, six months, one year, or permanent self-exclusion, then confirm.
While self-exclusion is active, you cannot open new positions or deposit. You can close open positions or leave them to settle, and you may withdraw available balance. A fixed-term exclusion automatically ends at the end of its term; the page says the restriction takes effect upon confirmation. See Polymarket US’s self-exclusion guidance before choosing this option.

The available Polymarket US guidance does not establish a separate routine unsubscribe process for marketing email or controls for individual push categories. Do not assume that its instructions apply to Polymarket.com, the separate website. For help with the US app, Polymarket US lists support@polymarket.us.

Polymarket.com: account deletion is not an unsubscribe shortcut
The Polymarket.com Help Center’s June 25, 2026 account-deletion article says users must close all open positions and withdraw funds before deleting an account. The profile and associated personal data are removed under its privacy policy, subject to possible legally required retention, but prior transaction history remains visible on-chain. Deletion is consequential account closure, not a routine way to stop promotional email; the article does not provide a standard notification-settings or unsubscribe procedure.

Manifold: confirm the current controls
Manifold’s official posts from 2022 described email and in-app preferences in notification settings, including a setting to opt out of future email types. A separate 2022 company post said users could unsubscribe from weekly trending-market recommendations at the bottom of the email. Those posts are historical guidance, not confirmation that the labels or paths remain current in 2026. Check Manifold’s present-day settings or current help resources before relying on those steps.
Quick Recap
If messages keep arriving after you unsubscribe
- Classify the message. Check whether it is promotional, account activity, security-related, push, or in-app.
- Check the matching control. A marketing unsubscribe may leave transaction emails on; an app push setting will not change email preferences.
- Allow for separate subscriptions. On Kalshi, marketing and account-activity email settings are independent.
- Contact the platform if the category still arrives. Include the message subject and when it arrived; for Kalshi account-activity email, include a screenshot of Notification settings as well.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
