Start Faerie Sugoroku from the event quest area while it is available on your server, then follow the event missions: complete objectives and claim their rewards. Certain claimed rewards move your Master piece and unlock board spaces and story quests. The stopping spaces are predetermined, so there are no random dice rolls to manage. If progress seems stuck, check for a completed mission reward that you have not claimed.

How to start Faerie Sugoroku

Open the event quest area in Fate/Grand Order and begin the event’s prologue when the event is available on your server. The event notice and in-game banner are the best places to confirm the current server’s entry requirements and availability.

For the original Japanese 2024 run, the official notice required clearing Part 2, Chapter 4, Lostbelt No. 4: Yuga Kshetra. It also warned that the story includes spoilers for content from Avalon le Fae onward. Those were the documented Japanese requirements, not a confirmed statement of North American eligibility in 2026. The North American official site listed Faerie Sugoroku in its event news on October 4, 2026, but the listing did not establish exact entry requirements or an end time.

How board movement and unlocks work

Faerie Sugoroku is mission-driven rather than a board game in which you choose a move or roll for a route. The official Japanese event notice explains that the dice results are predetermined and the spaces where pieces stop are not random. Certain mission completions move the Master pieces; those moves open additional spaces and main quests.

Completing an objective is not always enough to trigger the next unlock. Claim its reward from the mission list: the Japanese official notice says an unclaimed mission reward can prevent new missions or event spots from opening.

Progress through the event

  1. Start the prologue and available main quest. Follow the event map’s story progression. The Japanese 2024 run released main quest sections on successive days; that historical schedule should not be assumed to apply to the North American 2026 run.
  2. Complete the listed event missions. Objectives include collecting specified quantities of items and defeating specified enemy types. Mission rewards include Friend Points and other event rewards.
  3. Claim completed mission rewards. Return to the mission list after meeting an objective and collect its reward. Some claims move your piece or open further missions and spaces.
  4. Clear newly unlocked story quests. Main quests advance the event story and can open linked free quests. In the Japanese 2024 run, clearing a linked main quest opened its associated free quest.
  5. Run free quests for event items. Use the free quests to collect event items for progression and exchange. Check the mission list as you play; designated missions were also required for daily main quest advancement in the Japanese run.
  6. Track checkpoint evaluation. Clearing checkpoint main quests awards evaluation points. In the Japanese event, the score record card in the upper-left of the event map displayed the points earned.
  7. Clear all event-limited missions for the challenge quest. In the Japanese run, the challenge quest opened after every event-limited mission was cleared. After its first completion, it could be replayed.

What to check when the board stops progressing

  • A mission is complete but unclaimed: Open the event mission list and claim its reward. This is the first thing to check when no new space or mission appears.
  • No new main quest is visible: Review the mission list for required objectives and confirm that completed rewards have been collected.
  • You are looking for a dice or route choice: There is no movement strategy to optimize; the stopping spaces are fixed.
  • You are relying on a release schedule or eligibility detail: Check the current in-game event notice for your server. The Japanese 2024 schedule and prerequisite do not establish North American 2026 terms.
