To solve the well block puzzle in Hellraiser Revival, collect the three missing blocks from elsewhere in the area, return to the well, place them in the gold slot, and rotate all four blocks until the four image sections match the labyrinth sketch. When the full image matches, the well opens and you can descend the ladder to the Tongue statue piece.
Before you start
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is a first-person survival-horror game. In its August 2026 post, the PlayStation Blog described the game as coming to PS5 on October 8. The well puzzle becomes available after you finish the Head statue Genesis configurations and pass through the gate that opens. Continue to the well, then look for a crumpled paper beside the gold slot. Unfolded, it contains three sketches, and these are your reference for the finished image.
Find the three missing blocks
The three blocks are in separate locations, so collect them before returning to the well. The route below follows the GamesRadar+ solution, which is the most detailed source for these locations.

Block 1: the wooden gazebo
From the well, turn around and take the left path uphill to a wooden gazebo. A suspended cultist there holds the first missing block.

Block 2: the small pier
Continue to the small pier. Use the mooring bollard to pull the boat in, which gives you access to the second block.
Block 3: the merry-go-round
The final block is held by a cultist on the merry-go-round in the children’s play park. Expect enemy encounters after you retrieve blocks, so be ready for combat on the return route to the well.

Know what the completed image should show
The puzzle has four sections, one from each block. Each section should show the features below when the blocks are rotated correctly. Compare every section against the unfolded sketches.

Match the image in the well
Once you have all three blocks, follow these steps at the well.

- Walk back to the well and approach the gold slot.
- Insert the three blocks you collected into the gold slot. The block already in the slot makes four sections in total.
- Rotate one block at a time. Each block changes the labyrinth section it displays, so adjust a single block until its section matches one of the four descriptions in the table above, then move to the next.
- Check all four sections against the unfolded sketches. The well opens when the full image matches.
- Descend the ladder to reach the Tongue statue piece.
The walkthrough sources do not list specific button inputs for rotating blocks. Use the controls the game shows when you interact with a block.
If the image still doesn’t match
- Check the section you changed last. Rotating one block changes only its own section, so a section that was correct can be disturbed only if you adjusted that block.
- Compare against the sketch, not memory. The reference is the unfolded paper beside the gold slot, and the four clues in the table are taken from it.
- Confirm you have four blocks in play. Three are the blocks you retrieved, and the fourth is the one already in the slot.
How reliable these steps are
The block locations and the four section clues come from the GamesRadar+ walkthrough. GameSpew’s Hellraiser: Revival walkthrough independently reports the same overall sequence of inserting and rotating four pieces, and the reward of the Statue’s Tongue. The sources describe one solution path for this puzzle, and they do not set out alternative methods.
