The Haunted Floating Festival is live in Disney Dreamlight Valley from October 7 through October 31, 2026. Gameloft’s September 21 update announcement promises new and returning puzzles and seasonal decoration rewards. Community-reported launch-day solutions can help with several puzzles, but check the clues and prompts in your game: detailed answers have not been confirmed in an official 2026 walkthrough.
How to enter the Haunted Floating Festival
Gameloft’s instructions for the 2025 edition say to enter through the portal in the Plaza or choose the event’s teleport option. Those directions are from the prior edition; follow the current in-game prompts if the 2026 event handles entry differently.
The earlier official guidance describes exploring the island, gathering resources, and following clues that may send you back to the Valley. Some items or clues can depend on the time of day or weather, so a missing clue may mean you need to return under different conditions.

Community-reported puzzle answers available at launch
The following solutions come from the community-maintained Dreamlight Valley Wiki, not an official 2026 walkthrough. Names, interactions, or localized wording may differ in-game. If a step does not work, use the clue shown in your game rather than treating this list as definitive.

Ghostly Critter / Zero
- Find the roaming Ghostly “Zero” Fox. The community index reports that it appears near its house.
- Feed it a Haunted Skeleton Fish. The index says the fox drops a memory piece and that four daily feedings are needed to complete the memory.
- Once the memory is assembled, dig at the spot shown in it.
Combination Pillar
The reported symbol order is:
- Spider web (I)
- Bat (II)
- Witch hat (III)
- Cat (IV)
The community index places the puzzle behind the Haunted Mansion. It says the clues are the numbers of pumpkins beside glowing symbols around the island, and reports the Haunted Festival Dress as the reward.

Haunted Mansion / Haunted Armor quiz
The community-reported answers, in question order, are:
- Six blue pumpkins
- A cat inside the Scary Surprise Box
- Seven graves
- Blue Skele-Fish is Zero’s favorite food
The index says all four answers are needed for the Haunted Armor reward.

Lost Magic Page and Missing Books
The community index describes two new haunted-house book puzzles. For Lost Magic Page, it reports that a back room is unlocked with a Repaired Haunted Key. For Missing Books, it describes placing books on shelves and assembling a memory; the index also mentions a memory with a book titled Terrifying Tunes by Major Frite. Treat these as reported clues rather than verified step-by-step instructions, and check the current in-game prompts as you go.

The community-maintained event index reports eight puzzles available at the start of the October 7 event and a ninth scheduled for October 18. It lists four new puzzles alongside returning ones. The later puzzle is not available on launch day, so its solution and reward are not yet established here.

Gameloft’s current announcement confirms the event dates and promises new and returning puzzles plus seasonal decorations, but does not publish the detailed answers above. The exact solutions and reward details in this guide should therefore be understood as community-reported, not developer-confirmed.
