You can play Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S with a standard controller; the game does not require a special Quidditch-branded controller. To set it up, reach the main menu, open the in-game settings and controls list, choose a control preset, then adjust any options that feel uncomfortable.
What you need to play on Xbox
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, published by Warner Bros. Games and developed by Unbroken Studios, supports controller play and is listed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox also lists it for Cloud Gaming as a controller-playable game. The official listings do not specify a unique controller model requirement, so a standard Xbox controller is the sensible choice if you need one. How to set up the controls
- Launch the game. The first time you play, the game presents introductory cutscenes and tutorials before taking you to the main menu. Follow them, or close introductory material when the game offers that option.
- Open Settings and the controls list. Use the on-screen prompts to find these options; the official support instructions do not publish a complete Xbox gameplay button map or exact menu-by-menu navigation path. The controls list and settings can be accessed at any time.
- Select a preset. Choose Sharpshooter if shooter-style controls feel familiar, or Broom Racers if you prefer a layout modeled on popular racing games. Neither preset is established as objectively better; start with the one that seems more natural to you.
- Adjust individual options only as needed. The game lets you remap certain actions and change steering sensitivity. You can also invert up/down steering for Chaser, Bludger, and Seeker, and the Keeper has separate inversion and strafe-sensitivity options. Available toggles can reduce the need to hold certain inputs, and controller vibration can be disabled or adjusted. Read the in-game tooltips to see what each setting changes.
- Use reminders while learning. Enable input reminders during gameplay if you want prompts as you play. You can also revisit the controls list whenever a button assignment is unclear.

How to learn or revisit the controls
Complete the introductory tutorials to learn the general and role-specific mechanics. If you want to practice again, the tutorials can be replayed in Cup mode. During play, turn on input reminders or return to Settings and the controls list to check an assignment rather than guessing at a button.
