To see your GO Battle League win-loss record, open Main Menu > Battle and look in the GO Battle League section. Trainer Battle medal progress is on your Trainer Profile under Medals, and recent wins appear in the Journal. Pokémon GO’s official help pages describe these as separate records, and none of them adds every type of battle into one lifetime total.
Find your GO Battle League win-loss record
- Open Pokémon GO and make sure you are on the Map View.
- Tap the Main Menu button, then tap Battle.
- Find the GO Battle League panel. The GO Battle League menu lists your win-loss record.
The help material does not state the time window this record covers, so read the labels on the screen for the period it shows before comparing it with older numbers.

Check medal progress and recent wins
Medals
Return to the Map View and tap your Trainer portrait in the lower-left corner. Scroll to Medals. Medals show progress toward badges for battles, not a plain count of wins. Winning eligible battles against nearby Trainers or Friends can advance the Great League Veteran, Ultra League Veteran, or Master League Veteran medal.
Journal
The Journal is on the same Trainer Profile. The official Pokémon GO Help Center page “Viewing your Trainer Profile & Progress” describes it as “Displays recent activity, such as Pokémon you’ve caught and battles you’ve won.” Use it to see recent wins, not as a complete history.

Which number counts which battles
Each display tracks a different kind of battle and time span, so the values should be read separately rather than added together.

Only matches started through global GO Battle League matching affect that league rank. Battles against nearby Trainers, Friends, or Team Leaders do not change it.

Limits to keep in mind
- Medals are not a tally. A medal level tells you progress toward a goal, so it cannot be converted into a number of wins.
- The Journal is recent-only. Older wins may not appear there, so it should not be used for a full count.
- The rank is seasonal. GO Battle League rank reflects the current season, not your career record.
- The June 23, 2026 Trainer Battle update. Pokémon GO’s Trainer Battle update is dated June 23, 2026. The official pages cited here do not explain how it changed existing counters, so if a number looks different from what you remember, trust the labels on the current screen over older screenshots.
If you need a full count
Because the game does not keep one combined total, a complete tally has to be kept by hand. Record the date, battle type, and result after each session, and use the in-game screens only to check the figures you already logged.
