Start with the department or service that owns the page: use its official Help or Contact route if available. If you cannot identify the right contact, Kerala’s Government Contact Center-Kerala can provide information and register complaints for participating departments. For a broader grievance about a state department or office, submit a complaint through the Chief Minister’s Public Grievance Redressal system. Kerala’s official material reviewed does not identify one technical bug-reporting channel for every government website.
1. Identify the service and its owner
Note the name of the website or online service and copy the exact page address that is failing. Look for a Contact, Help, or support section on the department’s official website; a service-specific route is the best place to report a technical fault when one is provided.
Kerala’s e-Sevanam brings together online services offered by government departments. The e-District portal covers listed district-level services, including revenue certificates, RTI, public grievance, payment, revenue court, and forest services. These portals can help you identify the service involved, but they do not replace checking the responsible department’s own support information.
2. Contact the Government Contact Center-Kerala
If the service’s own contact route is unclear, ask the Government Contact Center-Kerala whether it handles the affected service. The Department of Electronics and Information Technology describes the centre as an information helpline and complaint registry for participating government departments, with service in English and Malayalam. The department’s page lists:

The department describes the centre as available round the clock. Its scope is participating departments, so do not assume it can take reports for every government website. See the Government Contact Center-Kerala information page for current details.
3. Escalate a broader state-government grievance
For a complaint about a state department or government office, use the Chief Minister’s Public Grievance Redressal system. The General Administration Department describes it as a centralized channel that forwards grievances to the relevant state department or office; it is a grievance route, not a dedicated technical bug tracker.

The Chief Minister’s Office says complaints can be submitted through the CMO portal, at Akshaya Kendras, by post, or in person at the Secretariat’s Straight Forward counter. Its help page explains the submission options.

4. Include details that make the failure reproducible
Kerala’s official complaint pages do not prescribe a technical evidence checklist. For a useful report, provide the facts needed to identify and understand the issue:

- The service name and exact page address.
- The date and time you encountered the problem.
- What you were trying to do and the steps that led to the failure.
- The exact error message or a brief description of what happened instead.
- A screenshot, if available and safe to share.
Do not include passwords, one-time passcodes (OTPs), or identity details that are not needed to explain the problem. If a form requires personal details to process a grievance, provide only what that official process asks for.

If you submit a complaint through the CMO system, retain its docket number. The CMO help page says you can check the complaint status using the docket number and the mobile number registered with the complaint. If you are dissatisfied with the action taken, the page says you can submit another complaint and include the earlier docket number.
