What the Modern Warfare 4 pre-order bonus includes
The announced cross-game reward is one digital item: the ICR-1 Shattered Relay Weapon Blueprint for Call of Duty: Mobile. It is tied to a qualifying digital pre-order of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, not to a separate purchase of a phone accessory, controller, physical collectible, or other merchandise.
Call of Duty Staff published the promotion instructions on October 12, 2026. The official notice says that any digital edition qualifies, including the Standard Edition and Vault Edition. The promotion language specifically identifies digital editions, so a physical copy should not be treated as eligible unless the publisher later changes the terms. The dates are terms of the October 12, 2026 announcement. They are not a promise that every eligible account will receive the blueprint on the same day. The publisher describes delivery as phased over a 30-day period beginning October 30.

Check these conditions before trying to redeem
Use one Activision account for both games
Your Call of Duty: Mobile profile and your Modern Warfare 4 sign-in must point to the same Activision ID. This is the central eligibility check. The official wording says that the Activision account used to log into Call of Duty must be the same account linked to the Call of Duty: Mobile app.
If Call of Duty: Mobile is currently being used as a guest profile or through a different sign-in, create or link an Activision Account in the app before you pre-order or launch Modern Warfare 4. Record the exact Activision ID you use. A platform account, console profile, or PC launcher login is not a substitute for confirming the linked Activision account; the cross-game match is made through Activision’s account association.
Confirm that the purchase is a digital edition
The announced qualifying purchase is any digital edition of Modern Warfare 4. The notice names both Standard and Vault Edition as eligible, so upgrading to Vault is not required for this particular Call of Duty: Mobile blueprint. The promotion does not state that a physical edition qualifies.

You may pre-order on the console or PC platform where you intend to play Modern Warfare 4. Keep the purchase account information available, but make sure the Activision ID used when the game launches is the one linked to your Call of Duty: Mobile app.
Observe the two October 23 dates
October 23, 2026 serves two purposes in the published schedule: it is the stated pre-order deadline and the Modern Warfare 4 launch date. Someone who pre-orders on October 23 must still complete the launch-day sign-in using the linked Activision account. Someone who buys after that date is outside the stated pre-order window.

Step-by-step: redeem the blueprint
1. Create or link an Activision Account in Call of Duty: Mobile
- Open Call of Duty: Mobile and go to the account or profile area where the game lets you manage your sign-in.
- If the app is not connected to an Activision Account, choose the option to create or link one.
- Finish the account-linking process and note the Activision ID shown for the profile you will use.
- Do not switch to a different Activision account when you later start Modern Warfare 4. The account link is what connects the purchase and launch sign-in to the mobile reward.
The official instructions do not require a new Call of Duty: Mobile profile if you already have an Activision Account linked. The important result is that the mobile app is linked before the cross-game eligibility check occurs.
2. Pre-order a qualifying digital edition by October 23, 2026
- Choose the console or PC platform on which you will play Modern Warfare 4.
- Pre-order a digital Standard Edition or digital Vault Edition, or another digital edition covered by the publisher’s “any digital edition” wording.
- Complete the transaction no later than October 23, 2026, the deadline stated in the promotion notice.
- Keep the purchase confirmation. It can help Support investigate a missing reward, although the published instructions do not specify a required receipt format.
Both Standard and Vault have the same eligibility for this blueprint. Do not purchase the more expensive edition solely to obtain the ICR-1 reward; the promotion states that Standard qualifies as well.

- On October 23, 2026, start Modern Warfare 4 after it becomes available on your platform.
- When the game asks for a Call of Duty or Activision sign-in, use the Activision ID associated with your Call of Duty: Mobile app.
- Complete the sign-in and allow the game to reach its normal connected state. The publisher says this launch-day sign-in registers the account to receive the mobile item.
The launch-day sign-in is a separate requirement from merely placing the pre-order. If you pre-ordered but never sign in on October 23, the published instructions do not say that the reward is automatically registered. If you cannot play for long that day, the relevant action is the account sign-in itself; the notice does not state that you must complete a campaign mission or another in-game activity.
4. Watch the Call of Duty: Mobile mailbox
- Starting October 30, 2026, open Call of Duty: Mobile with the same linked Activision account.
- Open the game’s in-game mailbox and look for the message containing the ICR-1 Shattered Relay Weapon Blueprint.
- Follow the mailbox prompt to redeem or claim the item, then check the ICR-1 loadout to confirm that the blueprint is available.
Delivery is phased. The publisher schedules the delivery window from October 30 through November 30, 2026, so an empty mailbox before October 30 does not indicate a failed claim. Likewise, an eligible player may receive the item later in the window rather than on the first delivery day.
5. Contact Support if the item is still missing after November 30
- Wait until the stated delivery period has ended on November 30, 2026.
- Recheck that the Activision ID in Call of Duty: Mobile is the same one used to sign in to Modern Warfare 4 on October 23.
- If the reward is still absent, contact Activision Support through the publisher’s support service and explain that the eligible account did not receive the ICR-1 Shattered Relay blueprint.
- Submit the missing-item claim by December 31, 2026. That is the deadline stated in the promotion instructions.
Include the Activision ID, the platform used for Modern Warfare 4, the digital edition purchased, and the dates of your pre-order and launch-day sign-in in your support request. These details are practical ways to identify the account; the official notice does not publish a separate form or list a different claim process.

Standard Edition versus Vault Edition
For this reward, the edition choice does not change eligibility. The official instructions explicitly say that either Standard or Vault Edition qualifies when purchased digitally.

The mailbox is empty before October 30
This is within the published schedule. Delivery does not begin until October 30, and the publisher says it is phased through November 30. Keep checking during that window instead of treating an early empty mailbox as proof that the account failed.
The reward has not arrived by the end of November
After November 30, verify the account match first. Open Call of Duty: Mobile and identify the linked Activision ID, then compare it with the Activision ID used when you signed in to Modern Warfare 4 on October 23. If they differ, the account that completed the launch-day sign-in may not be the account attached to the mobile app.
Once you have checked the account, contact Activision Support. The stated deadline for a missing-item claim is December 31, 2026, so do not wait beyond that date.

You used different accounts on different platforms
A console or PC platform account can be different from your Activision account. The promotion’s specific requirement is that the Activision account used to log into Call of Duty is the same account linked to Call of Duty: Mobile. If you are unsure which Activision ID was active, avoid creating additional accounts while troubleshooting; extra accounts can make it harder to identify the eligible profile. Ask Support to clarify the account association.
You pre-ordered but did not sign in on October 23
The official instructions say that launch-day sign-in registers the account to receive the item. A pre-order by itself is therefore not the complete redemption process. Sign in with the linked Activision account as soon as possible and retain your purchase details, then ask Support whether the account can be reviewed if the blueprint is not delivered during the scheduled window. The published notice does not promise an alternative registration method for a missed launch-day sign-in.
You bought a physical copy
The promotion specifies any digital edition and names Standard and Vault. It does not establish physical-edition eligibility. Check the current official terms before assuming that a physical purchase can be converted into this reward.
You bought the wrong digital edition or platform
For the blueprint itself, Standard and Vault digital editions are both listed as qualifying, and the notice does not require a particular console or PC platform. The key checks are that the purchase is digital, the pre-order falls within the stated deadline, and the same Activision account is used for the mobile app and the Modern Warfare 4 launch-day sign-in.

A simple eligibility checklist
- Call of Duty: Mobile is linked to an Activision Account.
- You know the exact Activision ID linked to the mobile app.
- Your Modern Warfare 4 purchase is a digital edition.
- The digital pre-order was made by October 23, 2026.
- You signed in to Modern Warfare 4 on October 23 with the mobile-linked Activision ID.
- You checked the Call of Duty: Mobile mailbox from October 30 through November 30.
- If the item remained missing after November 30, you submitted a Support claim by December 31, 2026.
Why the account match matters
This promotion is not redeemed by entering a code in Call of Duty: Mobile. The announced process uses account verification: the digital purchase and the launch-day sign-in establish eligibility, while the linked Activision account tells the publisher which mobile profile should receive the item. That is why signing in with a different Activision ID, even on the same console or PC, can prevent the blueprint from appearing in the expected mailbox.
The safest sequence is to link Call of Duty: Mobile first, note the Activision ID, use that same ID for the Modern Warfare 4 launch-day sign-in, and then monitor the mobile mailbox during the phased delivery period. If those steps are complete and the item is still absent after November 30, use the stated Support route before the December 31 cutoff.
