There is no verified, currently redeemable 30th Anniversary Mewtwo Pokémon code in the official sources reviewed. The anniversary Mewtwo offer that was confirmed was a Pokémon GO encounter through the paid GO Pass Deluxe, and its claim window ended on March 15, 2026. It was not a Scarlet and Violet Mystery Gift distribution.
Was there a 30th Anniversary Mewtwo Pokémon code?
The official Pokémon anniversary offer featuring a Mewtwo encounter was in Pokémon GO. It was a reward on the 30th Anniversary GO Pass Deluxe, not a code for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Pokémon’s event page lists the event as running March 3–9, 2026, local time, with rewards claimable until March 15, 2026, at 7:59 p.m. local time. That deadline has passed. The reviewed official sources do not verify an active 30th Anniversary Mewtwo distribution as of October 7, 2026. That does not rule out a later or regional offer; it means there is no confirmed code to enter based on the available official announcements. Be cautious of pages or posts presenting an unverified code as current.
How to redeem a valid Scarlet and Violet Mystery Gift code
These steps apply only if you already have a valid code for a Scarlet and Violet gift. They do not unlock the expired Pokémon GO encounter or establish that a 30th Anniversary Mewtwo code exists.

- Unlock Mystery Gift: Progress until you reach the first Pokémon Center in Los Platos.
- Open the redemption menu: In the game, open Poké Portal, then select Mystery Gift.
- Enter the code: Choose Code/Password, enter the valid code, and confirm.
- Check for the Pokémon: The received Pokémon is added to your party or Boxes. Save your game after receiving it.
Nintendo’s Mystery Gift instructions for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet describe the process, but do not list a 30th Anniversary Mewtwo code.

Pokémon GO listed GO Pass Deluxe at US$7.99, with a US$9.99 option that included ten extra ranks. Those were event prices, not a current way to claim Mewtwo; the reward window is over.
