Claim the game on its live Amazon offer page, then follow whatever method that page shows. Amazon says an offer can hand you a code to redeem at a storefront such as GOG or Epic, ask you to link your Prime Gaming account to a game or launcher account, or deliver a PC game through the Amazon Games app. There is no single flow for every game, so the first thing to check is which of those three applies.
Step 1: Claim the offer and see which method it uses
- Sign in to the Amazon account that is eligible for the offer, then open the specific game’s current offer page.
- Select Claim. Amazon’s own wording is to “click the associated ‘Claim’ button to begin the process (sometimes customers will claim a code to redeem content via a storefront).”
- Read what appears next. It will be a code, a prompt to link accounts, or a pointer to the Amazon Games app.
Amazon’s current game offers may appear under Amazon Luna branding, while help pages and older guides still say Prime Gaming. Menu names and layouts may differ from what you see here, so go by the offer page in front of you rather than a remembered navigation path.

Which method does your offer use?

Do not treat these as interchangeable for one offer. If the offer links accounts, there is no code to hunt for.
Redeem on the Epic Games Store
If the offer uses a linked account
Connect your Amazon Prime account to the Epic account that should own the game. Epic support says this linked setup lets you access Prime Gaming offers and claim content. If the connection fails, use Epic’s official account-connection support article instead of trying workarounds with other accounts.

If the offer gives you a code
- Sign in to the Epic account where you want to keep the game. Epic’s instructions explicitly require this before redeeming.
- Redeem the code in the Epic Games Launcher or on the Epic Games Store website.
- Open the Library in the Epic Games Launcher. Epic says a successfully redeemed game becomes available there.
Redeem on GOG
GOG offers arrive as codes. Sign in with the GOG account that should receive the game. GOG’s support-center text describes redeeming in GOG GALAXY through the + Add games & Friends menu and choosing Redeem GOG code. That wording comes from a search snippet of GOG’s support page, and interface labels can change, so if your menu differs, check GOG’s current support page. Once redeemed, look for the game in your GOG library.
Other launchers: Legacy Games and the Amazon Games app
Amazon lists Legacy Games and the Amazon Games app alongside GOG and Epic as possible destinations. It does not publish a universal flow for them and does not say every game uses each destination. Follow the instructions shown after you press Claim, and look for the game in the matching launcher or app.

Troubleshooting
- Wrong account: Confirm which storefront account you are signed into before you link or redeem. Ownership follows that account.
- Cannot find a code: Re-open the offer page. If it instead asks you to connect accounts, that is the intended method.
- Linking errors on Epic: Follow Epic’s account-connection support path.
- Offer missing or unavailable: Methods and availability vary by game, and Amazon’s support index has a topic on eligible countries and territories. Check the offer page and its displayed end date. No source establishes a universal deadline or a way to reinstate an expired offer.
- Game not in the library: Epic documents the Library location. For GOG and the Amazon Games app, check the matching launcher or official support, as post-claim screens are not documented in enough detail here to describe them.
