To redeem the Onimusha: Way of the Sword CPU bundle, buy an eligible processor through a participating retailer, install it in the computer you will use to redeem the coupon, then enter the code at AMD Rewards. AMD may require its Product Verification Tool to confirm the installed hardware. Steam account linking may be part of activation, but it is not stated as a universal requirement for every code.
Which CPUs qualify for the AMD bundle?

The offer is available through participating retailers only, and the exact product and terms attached to your purchase determine eligibility. A compatible motherboard by itself does not qualify. ASUS and GIGABYTE AORUS list additional products in their own campaign terms, including certain graphics cards and prebuilt systems; those lists are specific to those campaigns, not a blanket expansion of AMD’s CPU bundle. Check the terms for your exact retailer and coupon. AMD’s bundle listing, ASUS’s campaign page, and AORUS’s campaign page describe their respective eligibility details.
Check the campaign dates before redeeming
Deadlines differ across official offer pages, so do not assume one date applies to every coupon. AMD’s current store listing gives a coupon redemption deadline of November 21, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time. ASUS and AORUS list a purchase window of August 25 through September 26, 2026, and redemption through October 24, 2026, for their campaigns. Your code’s terms and the retailer’s offer govern which dates apply.

How to redeem the coupon
- Confirm the purchase qualifies. Check the exact processor model, participating retailer, coupon terms, territory, and redemption deadline on the product listing or offer documentation.
- Install the processor in the redemption computer. AMD says the purchased eligible product must be installed on the system where you redeem the coupon.
- Sign in to AMD Rewards. Go to AMD Rewards and sign in or create an account. ASUS’s campaign instructions direct customers to AMD Rewards for code redemption.
- Enter the coupon code. Use the redemption page prompts to submit the code provided with your purchase.
- Verify the hardware if asked. Download and run AMD’s Product Verification Tool (PVT) when prompted, and allow it to check the installed hardware. The verification step helps establish that the qualifying product is present in the system.
- Select the reward and finish activation. Choose Onimusha: Way of the Sword and follow the on-screen instructions. Depending on the offer flow, you may be asked to provide or link Steam account information.
For code problems after confirming that the product, system, and coupon meet the offer terms, AORUS directs customers to AMD Rewards support.

What to expect after redemption
The bundle redemption grants the game reward according to the code’s terms; it does not make the eligible CPU a technical requirement for playing the game. Capcom’s December 13, 2024 announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as platforms and scheduled the game for global release in 2026. That announcement does not establish a more specific current launch date or PC system requirements. Capcom’s announcement describes the game as a swordplay action title set in Kyoto at the beginning of the Edo period.
Before choosing a CPU bundle
- Check that the processor suits your existing motherboard and system; bundle eligibility alone does not establish compatibility with your build.
- Compare the total hardware cost with what the game reward is worth to you, rather than treating the game as a reason by itself to buy a processor.
- Confirm the seller participates in the offer and that the coupon’s territory and redemption window work for you.
The exact model name “AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor” is among AMD’s listed eligible CPUs, but eligibility of any particular retailer listing depends on its seller and attached campaign terms.
