First, try changing the network in SmartThings: open Devices, select the washer, then look in its menu under Settings > Wi-Fi > Change Wi-Fi network. If that option is missing, reset the washer’s saved network information and add it to SmartThings again. The reset buttons differ by model and region, so use the washer’s matching manual if the steps below do not fit its control panel.
Try changing the Wi-Fi network in SmartThings first
- Connect your phone to the new home Wi-Fi network and open the SmartThings app.
- Tap Devices, select the washer, open its menu and choose Settings.
- If Wi-Fi and Change Wi-Fi network appear, select that option and follow the prompts to choose the new network and enter its password.
Samsung’s in-app change path requires the washer to be connected. If you cannot find the Wi-Fi option, Samsung’s guidance is to reset the appliance’s network settings and reconnect it to the SmartThings account on the new network. Samsung SmartThings Wi-Fi change instructions

Do not assume the same controls apply to every washer. Samsung’s French appliance guidance uses a different reset sequence, and available instructions do not map every sequence to every model. If your display does not show the expected prompt, stop and check the manual for your exact washer and market rather than repeating a guessed sequence. Samsung France washer Wi-Fi reset guidance
