To contact GoFundMe support, open a relevant article in the GoFundMe Help Center and select Contact us. Follow the prompts with Ray, GoFundMe’s HelperBot. If Ray cannot resolve the issue, it can gather details and connect you with the human support team by chat or email.
Contact GoFundMe support through the Help Center
- Open the GoFundMe Help Center and find an article related to your issue. Topics include running a fundraiser, transferring funds, donations, account settings, and Trust & Safety.
- Select Contact us from the article and follow the prompts with Ray.
- If Ray does not resolve the problem, provide the requested details so it can route your case to a human support agent by chat or email.

Have the right account or donation details ready
Use the email address associated with the GoFundMe account or the donation. If you are unsure which address you used, include possible alternate addresses or the fundraiser link. GoFundMe says it can share account information only when communicating through the email address on file. If you are contacting support for someone else, provide that person’s email address or ask them to contact GoFundMe directly. These details are requested in the official support guidance.

Request a donation or tip refund
Submit a request through Contact us or GoFundMe’s refund request form. Have the email used for the donation and the fundraiser link available. GoFundMe’s refund guidance does not specify how long a response or refund will take.

Report suspicious messages safely
Do not reply to a suspicious email or message. GoFundMe says you can forward suspicious emails to accountsecurity@gofundme.com or contact Support through the Help Center. If you clicked a suspicious link or disclosed information, GoFundMe advises you to:
- Change your GoFundMe password and the password for your email account.
- Contact GoFundMe promptly.
- Enable multi-factor authentication on your other accounts.
- Monitor your banking activity.
